Sorry for your loss DC.
It's been raining off and on here today as well.

Definitely one of the rainiest Mays I can remember. Some random meteorologist on my feed said some sand was supposed to blow across the ocean from the Sahara and simmer things down a tad around the Gulf. We shall see.

I want to see rain here. It’s still so nice and cool then compared to Hong Kong. Which is expected to have like lots of rain and monsoony conditions.

It usually rains a good bit were I live. I never get tired of it. Gloomy days are my favorite.

Plus it's been helping to cool it down some. I can already tell it's going to be a really hot summer.

Rain is only good if you’re indoors. And when there’s no thunder at night. I don’t like getting wet lol.

I never tire of the rain either. I just need it to let the ground dry up long enough to let me mow so I don't have to use a machete to get to the car. =P

Lol I need to clean up the yard too, we’ve been gone too long and there’s like ankle high weeds and I think mint? growing between the stone tiles.

Thanks guys. Doing better. But it's still been raining off and on. I want some sunny days so the kiddo and I can be outside for awhile. We have a zoo pass and we want to use it and most of the good stuff is outside. But who wants to stand outside in the cold rain to look at animals? Besides, I don't have time to be really sick.

Mint grows so rapidly it's a borderline weed. Love my catnip though, and I've got an indoor mint that's more like a vine. Just cascades right out of the pot and makes a cute (and tasty) window decoration.
Our nearest zoo is a good 1.5 hours away. Last summer was the first time I'd been in years. The parks are a lot smaller than what I remember as a kid, but mine had a blast.

It was kinda gloomy today. It looked like rain and I did feel a few drops. It was also slightly chilly. So I went out to clean up the yard for planting season. Which I think is late bc it’s May and it’s still cold out lol.
Yeah I said that too about the mint. When my mom saw me pulling out the green stuff btween the stone tiles, she was like “that’s mint” and I’m like “I don’t care, it’s annoying and mint grows everywhere like weed anyway.”
