ah I'd say look up ribbon braid hairstyles on youtube? they must have some tutorials? Maybe instead of braids running down the back of their head you can pull the braids up into buns on their head and then the ribbon will show there?

There's definitely a ton of youtube videos on that kind of thing.

Try for example this channel for styles actually done on little girl hair. I bet they have some stuff with ribbons, too.

As an alternate idea for how to get it to show from the front, how about laying the braids around the head, crown-braid or milkmaid style in the end?
Something along the lines of what you see in this video is a neat way to get them to stay there. And you could either braid the ribbon into the braids then or just use it for the actual taping itself, depending on what your nieces like better looks-wise :)

Then for tutorials on how to actually do interesting braiding techniques with ribbons, I rather like this one, but you'd have to see how to make it visible from the front if the girls have too fine hair to start the braid with the ribbon at the front.

Mh, yeah, that's I think the best I can do off the top of my head, but if you need some more ideas I can definitely look into it more (but not right now since I should be studying).

Now I only have 50 slides to go before I can finish up for today (or at least that would be ideal. A little less would be okay, too, since for tomorrow I would have a little less than what I planned for today left over, if I got through with what I planned for today, and I did start pretty late into the day today. So it would be reasonable to leave a little more than what I manage to do today in the end for tomorrow. But I don't get to do anything fun if I don't get those 50 done, I'd stop early only to go pretty much straight to bed.)

Going to bed can be considered fun too haha, sleep is always nice :'P

I got lucky, there was a bunch of slides shortly before the end that didn't actually have much relevant content, they were the prof getting sidetracked into talking about patent laws (which is really really not the topic of the lecture, so I don't think I need to read a bunch of excerpts from different patents that he randomly put on the slides and didn't even really talk about in any kind of detail during the lecture) :D :)
