I think it depends on the cat. I have old cats and they still like to play.
One of my cats was glaring at me the other day because she wanted me to give her food. She was staring at me without blinking. If the food bowl is empty she sometimes looks at it and then me like.."hello? the food bowl is empty." XD

My Hyde will see his water dish empty, see me not put anything in it yet, then go see if there's water in it >>
My Kiri would also meow at me when her bowl was empty.
I said "You think if you bitch enough, your food bowl gets filled >8u" and she meowed back and I said "...I guess it does 8u -puts food in bowl-"
I got a laser pointer and was trying to play with her and she didn't give a single fuck 8u

My Momo just meows nonstop 8u
She also doesn't purr, or at least not audibly.
There's a cat we named Cottontail because she has a white tipped tail - she goes nuts over the laser.
She'll wiggle after it like a shark in water xD

Some of my cats purr really loud.
Aww, my orange cat has a white tipped tail. I call him a creamsicle sometimes. XD
I love when they wiggle on the floor, it is so cute.

Yeah, this cat Casper LOVES catnip and he flips on the floor a lot.
But he gets tired too and he just lies there and lets us pet him on his side/belly 8u
I'm more of a dog person, but I love these cats >>

I used to be more of a dog person but now I'm more of a cat person. I still want a dog eventually.

I like medium sized dogs or ones that aren't too small. I want a Shiba Inu.

Shiba inu, akita, husky - those are ones I want 8u
Or one of those mini pigs or a little goat x3
My Hyde is a mutt, but he clearly has rottweiler in him.
He's a pretty big dog.
