I'm not sure which part of america you've visited to learn
that information, but around here one teacher teaches all subjects
when you're in elementary school.
Except if you need something special, like if you don't know the language or are in special need
then other teachers help you. C:.

I think it's a good thing when only one subject per teacher is done.
I feel like that's less of the work for one teacher. Since the multiple curriculum that teacher would need to learn in order to teach all those multiple subjects seems a bit overwhelming for someone to do effectively, specially as kids get older and they need more advance courses. I think it is a good thing that we have multiple teachers for multiple subjects....it would help with keeping things unbiased since you'll have multiple views on things with other teachers and not just one lecturing you all day. It's a good thing to have one teacher/all subject for kindergarten through 5th grade ( i remember those days really fondly) i think it works really well with smaller children but not after that.
but congrats on you training to be a teacher! i agree with giggles
on that we need more of them who actually enjoy what there doing

I live in Virginia....and i've been through New York
Rhode Island, North and South Carolina and Florida
Haven't been up in Canada yet....but i've heard it's also nice
I mean it is true that from middle school to highschool students you
get multiple teachers for multiple subjects
but not from preschool/kindergarten through 5th grade

I feel like it is a good system....since students learned
some responsibility since they are responsible for getting to class on time.
It's a good system to help them maybe grow up a little in moral conduct.

But no problem! i learn something new as well with you

so you take a test to find out what school is best for you??
So you have specialty school (highschools/ middle)
i know right now i am in a school
who specializes in the Arts,
performing, Fine & musical arts
but i didn't have to take a test to know, we just had to apply

i like this community....there are a lot of artist that i love
and my art has improved here a lot since then.

i don't feel like it's been a long time...but it's been a long time

i remember when i didn't even have any items
with which create all sorts of avis
i had no MT's no TT's....or even commons
but i enjoyed talking to Firn so much as the creator of the site
that that didn't really seem to bug me too much
