Our manag section didn't have much but I was honestly surprised they had it in the first place because at the time manga was just starting to get popular. For perspective, this was 12-13 years ago so it was back when Bleach, Naruto, Vampire Knight, and Claymore were popular.

I loved going to the library and taking out scary books.
I'd always take the same ones out xD

Never saw any manga there, though.
But it wasn't popular when I was younger and going to the library though xD

Did you take out scary books from the kid/teen section or from the adult section?

I believe it was from the kids section and then the young adults section.

Some of the ones in the teen section and kids section are more imaginative than the adults section so I love them a bit more.

After Starkad's update there's "unread messages" in my inbox from deleted users whose usernames still show, but I don't want to remove them because it's kind of like the only memories I have of these folks now.

Same. I opened them so they would be marked as read.

I read some books with stories from different countries. There was one all about African folklore and scary stories. Those were cool books.

Yeah, I had an old message I never read from a user I don't remember.
It was from 2016 and they mentioned self-harming and I never read the message...
I tried to look up their account and it was just gone.
I feel horrible xD

It's kind of weird how fleeting online relationships are- AND YET here I still invest more in them than in IRL lolol

Its super weird. I used to talk to one user who had a whole hangout with like 6 or 7 regulars and she suddenly vanished for a month. It turns out she was in a coma for that time due to an accident. It was really odd to not know what was happening even though we used to talk to her daily.
