I kinda like foggy nights and days, it's a bit spooky at times, but I enjoy it

Unless it's smog

*kicks Warsaw*
Guuuuys, we got the ratties sterilized today! They are terribly miserable in their collars and I think Cotton might not be taking the wound well, she keeps doing weird movements with her hind legs and bottom in general, like she squirms a lot, or as if she wanted to push out the pain through her tummy. If that behavior doesn't stop until tomorrow, then I'll be worried enough to call the vet and maybe schedule a quick appointment. I'm not sure, maybe she got a few stitches out? Idunno...
#worriedmode
Anyways, at least Cotton took her medicine, unlike Candy

She was like "nope, not taking this shit, I dun care if it's supposed to help"

Crossing fingers for tomorrow's dose tho...

So, Cotton keep getting out of her collar

I think her neck and head are a bit too small and she's too clever..

Candy can't get out of it, she's a normal sized ratty. But Cotton can stay in her collar for a few hours and that's it. At least she doesn't tug on her stitches. On the other hand, she doesn't seem to heal as well as Candy does. The wound is in a weird lump, while Candy's wound is nice and flat. I'm kind of hoping it's just a long swelling.
We tried to get Cotton wear an elastic bandaid, but she's wiggling out of it anyways, even though I managed to cut out holes for her paws. And she's crying so badly every time we adjust her collar again, it's heart breaking
Good news is they both took all their meds today. They don't want to take them directly from the spoon (I mix up the meds with natural yoghurt - I'm still surprised Candy isn't sick of that yoghurt by now, she's been eating it day to day for a week or so, I'm lucky she's a glutton XD), BUT they actually will eat it from my finger XD #bourgeoisratties

Haha, that sounds cute! Aw I can just imagine her thoughts of "aha I'll just take this off like so... nuuu now they are putting it on again!"
Today I've acheived very little >.> I went out for what was supposed to be a quick visit to the pharmacy and the post office, ended up being gone for nearly an hour and a half. There were long queues everywhere and I ended up stopping by to get some cosmetics as well. Worst part, for some reason the till person forgot to scan in one of my items that I brought over, so I ended up not getting one of the things I actually wanted. I didn't realise until I was unpacking at home.

Yeah, more or less, it's cute, but also, can you stop taking it off already? XD The collar stayed on since around 10am, now it's 8pm, so we're hoping she won't escape it anymore.
I ended up calling the vet about the lump on that wound though, she said it's probably just a hematoma, which should dissapear on its own. Or it could be hernia caused by improper reattachment of muscles. I'm supposed to bring her in on Monday for the surgeon to feel the lump. I'm not sure what if it's the latter, but I'm just hoping for that hematoma (as horrible as it sounds, it's not so bad).
Aw, I feel you, did nothing today either. I slept in, bought sweet rolls for bf and that elastic bandaid for ratties. We went to the vet together, then I brought takeout home and we watched Friends for a long while and then he got to gaming and I took a nap. Now I changed the paper towels in rats' cage and now I'm here XD So not a very productive day here.

I managed to drag myself to do a tiny bit of work in the end XD Now J is going off to the gym, after dinner. So I guess I should try at least to do a bit more.
However the people in the flat next to ours, which has been empty for a long time since it was an old lady who lived there before and now she's gone into a retirement home, suddenly decided to use the place today. Sounds, from what I can overhear very loudly through their open windows, like they are doing a party of some kind for one of the friends of the grandson. No one lives there right now so of course they find it acceptable to be loud with no thought for those around them -__-

That's great you actually did something! :D I kind of kept on writing down ideas for that book of mine, so let's say I did something XD
Aww, man, I hate when that happens! Our neighbours sometimes turn on loud music just when we're going to bed, and in the middle of the week

Because I can totally deal with it being Friday or Saturday, but other days? People go to work the next morning, have some decency
And I just bought the Rococo BG, so happy!

Oh gosh I'm so mad at myself, I was like 10 or so posts away from getting it... really beautiful as well. Congrats on getting it :D
I'm starting to try to push myself not to buy every single set going lol. Not that I do get all of them, but I think I get too much. There are some I don't ever wear.

I didn't count my posts, but I definitely wasn't online and posting as much to actually be close xD
Lol, I was getting to the same conclusion! I have to start picking my sets more carefully
