Used to. Mom's got a teaching certification for ASL so she remembers better than the rest of us lol

My dad was getting a Playstation for my step-siblings and I just blurted it out in front of them xD;
I don't know why I did that. They were right there.
We learned a little ASL in 4th grade, but I don't remember any of it.

I pissed off the superintendent (and possibly the guidance counselor) by insisting in 8th grade i wanted to take ASL at [college]

oooh i see :o i used to practice for fun but before i knew it, i guess i just stopped
literally have no idea why they would be pissed off. asl as a major is pretty cool

Because the superintendent was one of those huffy types who disliked anything different
Principal, on the other hand, thought it was an excellent idea and have my parents a rundown on what to do so basically counter every complaint the superintendent would have so I could do it. But my parents didn't get this info from her, she had to officially turn them away unable to help
Keep in mind that her first year as principal at my school was when I was in 7th grade. So about two years at our school. And she knew this stuff

ooh... sounds like good principal lol
for some odd reason the only principal i remember is my elementary one

She was. She also was more concerned about why a kid was acting up and resolving that best she could than in punishing them. Punishments only really happened if there was no other option
