I guess weird stenches and creepy crawlies are the downsides of being 'close to nature' haha. Sorry for sounding nasty Hino-chan
We'd gone to this park for a walk. There were weird smells as a consequence of the presence of cowpats. But there were also the loveliest little birds, and my Dad had to stop and take a picture of each one of them, and in the middle we found puppies stretched out to sleep in the sun
So yeah, I had a nice time. Every time I got the whiff of a stench I began breathing through my nose, till the cold seemed overpowering enough for me to risk sniffing to check for a stench again.

Nah, it's ok. I am the one that tells nasty stuff to ppl like telling about autopsy or dead dogs we had for our classes. And children skulls too...
So yeah, I don't mind

Oh, that's just normal when You study biology. And autopsy was additional stuff that my friend organized at Medical Academy. It was kinda fun seeing police photographer almost faint when the started cutting the body. Guess it was his first time too. And the policewoman that was with him was helping pathologist to turn around body and break joints. Guess it wasn't her first time

You witnessed a body being cut up without fainting?
How could she help break it's bones? How's she gonna be able to sleep at night?
Why I'm allergic to medicine, I do not like flesh, blood or insides being displayed to me. It's so annoying how people hear that I'm taking biology in high school and assume I'm going to be a doctor, like engineering and medicine are the only things to do. There's other stuff you can do with a biology in high school, dammit!
So are you doing biology in high school or college? (I don't see how you can witness gory stuff in high school itself but even so...)

And she was used to it probably as being part of CSI probably. And she wasn't really breaking bones but like parting joints. Dunno how to really explain this. It's like they were taking the leg out of the hip without breaking anything.
And it was this kind of autopsy that You do after car accidents. So they need bone heads to tell from which direction the body was hit and how hard. But I think the only thing I can't really stand is the sound of breaking bones. The rest is fine, really. The sad thing is I had to leave before they opened the skull... Needed to visit my professor and didn't make it back in time.
