I know God doesn't want me to, but I agree with you. They don't even have to be physically abusive either. Mental and verbal abuse is just as bad I think. I went to a women's shelter once and I told them I felt bad for being there because I hadn't been physically abused but the ones that had dealt with both said they'd rather deal with physical abuse than mental abuse.

Yeah, but I also think they fail because the types of people that go to prison are the types that aren't likely to change themselves. Most of them are career criminals.

XD Max starts getting crabby about 8 PM and if someone moves their feet a lot he'll bite at them. He acts like a crabby toddler that didn't get a nap. XD

Poor cat. I hate parasites too. I can't imagine what purpose they serve on this planet.

Yeah, people forget that abuse isn't just physical.
People also act like you have no right to complain about their abuse if they do nice stuff for you.
Like "I gave you a present how dare you say I abuse you!"
This guy I watch sometimes said "That's like saying this guy punches his wife in the face sometimes, but other than that he's a really good guy!"

My parents were both in prison. Both have changed and will never do what they did again.
My dad got it worse than my mom.
While he was in prison, he needed medical attention because of his shoulder.
He needed surgery on it because it's been messed up for years.
He told them and told them and told them and they were like "Yeah, we got it!" and it took them forever to get to it.
He also has Narcolepsy and can't help falling asleep.
They threatened to kick him out of his group because he kept falling asleep.
I had to send numerous complaints in.

Then he got out and had to stay in a halfway house.
They would tell him to do stuff, then would also make it as hard as possible for him to do it then threatened him with being sent back to prison.
And there was nothing I could do to help him.
He was trying to do what they wanted him to do, always, but they kept fucking it up for him.
When he asked to see a doctor, because he's Diabetic and has sleep issues and has had surgery a few times, the woman got pissed off because it was a pain in the ass for her and it cost them money.
Like I'm so sorry you have to do your fucking job - what you get payed to do Bu
I wanted to go down there and cuss them out, but my dad said no because it would get him in trouble.
He luckily got to get out of that hellhole and is doing pretty good.
I've had numerous family members in prison.
Some of them changed and some didn't.
If people do their time and have changed, they're owed the right to be better.
When they're given no chance, all they can do is go back to prison and then people say "See!? No one ever changes!"
It really opened my eyes and showed me that the prison system is garbage here.

Oh my GOD.
Casper nipped my toe the other night >8u
He was loving on my legs and I was petting him then -BITE-.

I can't either. Like I know things exist for a reason - but parasites literally just make things sick and die.
The world's full of those things already >Bu

Exactly. Some things are so bad that they negate any good the person does.

Good for your parents. :qg: I just think it's really hard for most people to learn their lesson. I'm glad it worked for your parents though.

Wow. People are harsh. I dealt with a lot of that when my son was in residential care. Anytime another kid broke my son's nose, jaw, etc. they never did anything about it no matter how much I complained. :/

I'm glad your dad got out of that place. They remind me of the way some foster parents act. They just want a paycheck but don't want to work for it.

Definitely! If people can do better they deserve a second chance.

XD He must have thought you tasted good.

I know right. Maybe they're just population control?

My aunt has made me feel like shit so many times, but if I tell her off, she says I'm just selfish and ungrateful because she always does things for me.

My uncle was in prison most of my childhood. He was in and out all the time. But he got out and turned his life around. I'm so proud of my parents, but especially of my uncle.
He's who I think of instantly when people say "People never change!"
People have to WANT to change.

You shoulda threatened to sue them. If it happened while he was in their care - it is their fault.
One of my biggest pet peeves is people who can't do their job right.
They're either unqualified or just don't give a fuck.
Big problem when it comes to nursing homes and places people need caring for at.
I've heard so many horrible stories of neglect in nursing homes and mental care facilities.
Like if you don't want to do your job, then quit.

He is doing great now. He was so depressed and sickly there.
As soon as he left, his mood changed and he's been doing good.

It's risky and I understand. It's hard to learn someone did something bad and to just trust them, but if we didn't - the world would be screwed.

He keeps nipping our toes. I don't know why. I know he chews on his a lot but damn >8u
I was telling him to go bite my sister xD
He walked over to her and looked at her toes and she jumped away xD

I suppose so. Stupidity is also a population control 8u

Reminds me of my dad. :/

Absolutely! I wish more people felt like your uncle. I'm glad he turned his life around. :qg:

I probably should have. I definitely would have if my son was different. There are consequences to starting trouble. He likes to get somebody really mad so that they'll hit him. Or he'll do something awful to somebody behind their back and then get beat up when they find out. No matter what I say he won't leave people alone.

Amen. I hate that too. I can't even understand why someone would go to work at a nursing home if they don't like old people. What are they thinking? O.o

That's great. I'm glad he's better.

You're probably right. I never thought about it like that before. I'll give it some thought. Thank you. :qg:

XD

Well, it would be if we didn't save stupid people from themselves. XD

I just have to say that your art is great! :qh: I love the dolls you made and you even made a Day of the Dead one. :qsq:

My great aunt was like that. She instigating things with my mom by saying she called CPS on my mom. So my mom shoved her and she called the police on her and my mom ended up with a felony for it.
She instigates shit constantly then acts like the victim and the world is out to get her because she's so innocent.

People say "Well, people with jobs like that get worn down and numb!"
Then they should quit.
A person's family member shouldn't suffer because you don't care about your job anymore.
I remember this woman in a mental institute wandering around naked and covered in her own filth and the staff just ignored her.
She ended up falling and hitting her head and dying.
That's abhorrent.

Thank you x3
I actually need to make some new ones...
It's been a while xD

Wow. I'm sorry your mom had to deal with that. :qsob: And from family no less.

I don't know why people make excuses for them. There is no excuse for anything that awful. Yes, it is. It's enough to make a person sick with anger.

Well, these were very good. :qg: Yes, please. Make more arts. XD

I don't even know what's gotten into me. To be honest, I'm more into animal collectibles. Dolls are more Tam's thing, but for some reason, I really like this site and most of the dolls on it. Plus, I love all of the avatar choices.

My aunt works at a nursing home and she loves her job and takes care of the patients there the way one should.
But she told me about this one nursing home where this woman had had surgery on her knee and they neglected her so bad that her knee got infected and her leg had to be amputated. She actually ended up dying after the surgery.
There's no excuse for that to have happened.
That's HORRIBLE.
I don't get how someone can willingly and knowingly let that happen.

I get interested in making new ones, but then lose interest so I never finish xD;
I was working on a Konpeito one, but lost interest.

I like collecting random things offline. I used to collect rocks and broken glass and anything pretty xD
Online, I try to collect every item possible and I like collecting art too u8

That's kind of what happened to my cousins' stepmom. Her wheelchair was rubbing her leg and it got infected and she died. I couldn't believe no one noticed until it was too late. :qsob:

I understand. I have hobby ADHD too. XD

Me too. :qg: I collect pretties, stuffed animals, stamps, stickers, etc. I have a small art collection but mostly I just collect pets, items, and clothes.

I have a major soft spot for the elderly. I don't know why, actually.
Maybe it's because I have no grandparents anymore.
Maybe it's respect for my elders.
Maybe it's pity, which I hope not because the elderly are strong.
But if harm comes to them, it sends me into a rage xD

I'm so...I wanna say fickle, but I don't know if that's the term...
I can get heavy into things but then just abruptly lose interest.

Ah, I love stuffed animals x3
I collected stickers too.
I love pretty, shiny sparkly things in general xD
