I'm going to check it out too, I need some motivation. I've been trying to exercise with walking but I don't have the energy to go outside every day at the moment because it's so cold. Even in the corridors of our building, because people leave the doors or windows open even when it's snowing.

I have no room in my flat for bodyweight stuff but if I had more confidence I'd consider going a gym and doing that provided I had a job and could afford the PT

There's a 24/7 gym that I went to for a lil while with my parents but now its too far away for me to really motivate myself into going c':

Yeah, I like doing exercises at home that I don't need to go outside for, too. You can just take off most of your clothes and start right up, no driving anywhere, preparing a lot of stuff etc.
I'm just not so good at setting myself a regular schedule at home, that's why it worked best for me to do it at uni where I can just plan it into some timeslot around my lectures or even go to a sports class (I went to ballet and a stretching class last semester, it was really good).

River, is your flat super small or full? There's no way to e.g. push the couch aside to get at least a piece of floor that you can stretch out on? You might not be able to do the more jumpy exercises that way, but there's a lot you don't need much space for if you're a little careful.

bit of both.

but more on the it's really damn small.

It's more a case of I can do exercises but if I want to say get a at home treadmill or something I can't fit that in the flat unless it were a really small one

try searching out blogilates apartment friendly series on youtube, maybe some of the exercises would be possible to do at your place :)

I think you kind of missed my point.. from my post above about how my flat has no room for bodyweight stuff.. as in I wish I could do that at home but can't due to room and lack of stuff cause of lack of room.

I do use fitbit coach but I ran out of free sessions so I found a 12 min hiit session online and used that, though only did half of it cause it's very intense and the 2nd half was the same as the first half and I was pooped by then anyway.

For me doing small sessions for now till I can do half hour daily is all I'll do. But I do not want to become one of those fitnuts.

Oh, I thought you mean you don't have space to exercise at all. :mcheh: A treadmill or any kind of such equipment isn't really necessary to work out tbh.

my fitness regime consists almost entirely of yoga, which is convenient cause all i need is a mat and enough floor space to stretch out. but i have to space a session four hours after my last meal, and sometimes i have to skip cause my schedule doesn't always allow that. in hostel, though, things are always so hectic i really only follow the regime at home.

oh, and i walk :mcheh: but it feels like leisure more than fitness to me lol

I have a small amount of space in the lounge room for simple stuff.

But I can't leave the mat out all the time so I fold it up and store it under the table till the next use.
