Kingdom of Knuffel

So you've gotten to see it grow! Has a lot of things changed since when it first started?

Yeah, it's gone through quite a few changes. The whole layout changed, especially in comparison to before, when it had a more generic forum look with an illustrated banner on top. Over the past few years, the knuffels have been switched from ones with three forms (thin and sad, mild, and fat and happy, depending on how hungry they are) to knuffels that can evolve and dig to earn items. The marketplace has been added, as well as the quests, the art corner, and the games. Also, Firn used to personally judge the avatars that were entered for the Avatar Contest, but now it goes by votes. KofK has become a totally different place than it was before, and with the things that Firn's planning, it's going to keep moving forward. XD

Also, because of some past experiences with less pleasant avatar communities, Firn has promised the users to never take advantage of us with cash shop. It's still needed to keep the site running, but she always gives us a set date for them (Treasure Trove Items that aren't Monthly Treasure last for three months) and only updates the TT if there's a regular shop update as well.

The fact that Firn takes such good care of this place is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. :3

It's so weird to think that Firn and the others were at one point just gaia users chatting about this XD (that is the history right?) I'm glad to be here while it's still developing ^ ^ and get to see some of the action.

I haven't spoken with her directly but she seems really pleasant and passionate from some of her posts I've seen.

Many avatar sites do that. It really sucks.

(Yep pretty much.) Yeah, it's pretty cool.

She has her own hangout, so if you hang out there, you might bump into her. I was talking with her last night; she's really great. Listened to my problems and stuff, but I guess that's what friends do. I felt better after talking to her.

I saw that you have a knuffel. Pretty nice. :3 Has it earned you some FPs yet?

It's neat that you guys are close like that ^ ^ Does she live in Germany? I've noticed the site is hosted there so now I'm curious.

It has! I'm glad I decided to hold back on buying avi stuff to get it!

Yeah, she lives in Germany. She's usually on when I'm sleeping (or when I'm supposed to be sleeping. XD)

And not really, I'd like to buy everything in the summer event thing....well everything blue but that's not really a goal. Right now I'm just accumulating sunrays and fps, I've yet to see a fairy though I've been hearing of them.

I haven't seen a fairy in maybe over a year; they're pretty rare, though the more active you are on the forum, the more likely you are to see one. You still have time to earn lots of sunrays. What I like to do is watch a movie or something while looking for them; it also helps to have a daily goal.

A year!? Depressing! I wonder how that works though...like how they are set up and such.

Nah, I don't mind. As long as I collect them all eventually, I guess. XD
