I know, it sounds bad when I put it that way :D
It's a great aria though, especially when you're angry ;) In my puberty, I used to blast it through the house at full volume when I was angry at my mom ;)
Also, if you blast it at full volume, it doesn't matter that you don't have the voice range to sing it, you can still sing along badly because it's loud enough to not hear much of your own singing :D Ah, good times... ;)

Well, she wants her daughter to murder the guy who has kidnapped the daughter to keep her away from her... So it's kinda understandable. Although the way she tries to force her daughter to do it is not ok. I always liked the queen of the night more than Sarastro anyway, he's just such a sexist asshole. Even though he's supposed to be the good guy ;)
