Yeah, just a wee smidgeon.
Just a teensy tiny bit.
And, yep, Sibyl was the title for Greek oracles at various sites and times. I suppose I could have said Delphic instead of sibyllic? Would that have been more readily recognizable?

I also think apples and cupcakes are worth it, specially when you have many knuffels.
If you only own a dozen it does not take long filling them.
But when you have a hundred? Oh, yeah, it does for sure. So it's nice having them ready whenever you feel like digging.
I only dig with those below level 100, because what I want is leveling them up.
And those apples and cupcakes are so handy!

Fair enough.
I rather enjoy how utterly ridiculous the Grecoroman myths are. Yes, there are a few of the "explain this mysterious natural phenomenon" variety, but they have whole cycles of stories that don't seem to serve any purpose, not explanation or moral-teaching or history preservation or anything. They're just so random!
I love it.

I personally love those myths in which there are different versions which actually seem quite opposite, or that describe different issues or try to teach different lessons.
So you take for example Pandora's box.
According to some versions, all the evil in the world was in it. According to others, it was all the good.

I've never heard a version where it's all the good?
I've only heard, monsters and curses and evils, with the very last to escape being the very worst, which was Hope.
Which I always figured was some storyteller being all philosophical and cool about the true nature of hope, but then, I'm cynical sometimes.

Oh like Persephone and Hades? XD that’s the only myth i can think of that describes a particular phenomenon.
Yeah i’ve heard of Pandora’s box, the only thing that did not escape was Hope.
