Yes, I might not get the sets I want the most first, but then I'm not nervous and anxious about other sets leaving too soon for me to grab them. I rather wait patiently with a peaceful mind :mcgrin:

I'm travelling by car, so I can't do much. If I read something it makes me dizzy and carsick so there's no way to get work done like that. I don't have anything else I can really do that doesn't require reading or writing.

And it now turns out that J has Thursday off work :mcmeh: he said he couldn't possibly take me because he couldn't get cover for the day, then when I asked him what time he was going to finish he was checking his schedule for a really long time, just staring at it, until he finally admitted he was off.
I got pretty mad.

I'm doing two days of travelling either side of the funeral to get there because he said he couldn't get time off work for it. Now it turns out he's off work on the day, so he could drive me there and back again. When we had this confrontation he started to be like "oh, where is it happening again"... as if to come up with an excuse that it was too far away to drive in one day. Never mind that my mum's going to have to drive the same distance four times to get me, go to the funeral, go home, and then drive me home again. So I gave up and stopped the conversation. I would rather he just told me to my face he doesn't want to go rather than making excuses. I told him that as well but he didn't say anything.

I want to play with these soft little critters :< bring some real ones to my house plz!

I just had a call with a life advisor for the first time though and it was really productive. The first session was free, so when she tells me her prices I'll consider talking with her again.

I mean, if it was a misunderstanding, he could offer to actually drive you there and not bother your mom.

Life advisor??? :mcgasp: People make money from anything nowadays, I guess XD Is it like career advisor? Does such a person just tell you what to do with your life? XD If yes, I kinda need that person, LOL.

Right? And now I'm not sure what to do because I was halfway through organising something for after I arrived, so I would at least get some useful work done. Now I don't know whether to organise it or to persuade him to drive me. Ugh.

I know, I thought it sounded kinda wishy washy but it was free so... and then she made some really good points. Yeah I guess she's like a mix between a career advisor, mentor, and therapist - she helps you figure out your life goals and then achieve them by getting the right mentality. Already in the space of less than an hour she made me think really hard about some things that I hadn't addressed before.

Oh man, this sucks. As your boyfriend he should understand that it is indeed more rational if he drives you.. he might as well just stay there with you and you guys drive back together. He is off, you both save money, you still get to spend some time together. So rationality is against him.
I am getting pissed only by reading your rant and writing mine xD Seriously, he seems very selfish here..
