I was pissed too. So last night I said to him, so what am I doing this week then? He tried to avoid it but I gave him The Look of, we both know what I mean. So he agreed to drive me. I asked him if he was sure like 16 times because I don't want him to then turn out grumpy on the day and pretend I bullied him into it. Anyway, at least that's some time saved for everyone, and an extra day of work for me.
I also looked it up and it's only going to be a 2 and a half drive from our house. Whereas, because of the fact it's off to the east, going by my parents' house first and then going there would be almost double the time. So this really makes the most sense for everyone.

It is indeed the best solution for everyone.
What else would he have done on his day off? Lay on the couch and watch TV? (okay, this may sound stereotypical, but that's the picture I get here xD)

And... I got my braces off!!!! *confetti rain* I still have some metal at the bottom on the back off my teeth, and I'm going to have to wear a retainer 24/7 once it arrives for 3 weeks, but this is still pretty amazing 8D I can move my tongue around in my mouth without cutting it XD

Are you happy with the result? I don't remember, did you get the braces for issues with your teeth that needed fixing or for cosmetic reasons? In the first case I guess the question is not so relevant, since I would expect that your dentist would make sure the issues are fixed.

It was for straightening them out :P and they are so nearly straight now. I love it. Though it will take a while to get used to how my smile looks now XD But it's so much better than before.
Also I can bite stuff again, and eat stuff that has lots of little bits without getting it stuck in the metal, like broccoli 8D
