Weeeellll, they're prostitutes.
Their mother died and left them the earrings they each wear.
They're in their 20s and support themselves by prostituting.
The one in yellow is Miyu and the one pink is Maru.
Miyu is the way he is because a stalker beat him up.
He doesn't always look like that.
Maru was also stabbed in the stomach by the same stalker.
Maru is an extrovert and has a habit of acting tough and mouthing off.
Miyu is antisocial and mostly keeps to himself, except he's more open with his brother.
