I usually try to avoid KFC, it gives me indigestion nowadays. And of course bloating etc.
Funny, there was a kfc discussion on that mobil game last night XD

I visited my grandma in the hospital yesterday. She is better than I anticipated. I kind of expected to see her completely unable to do things, but there she was, moving and using her arms normally, eating by herself (although she still can't feel the right side of her face and mumbles gibberish a lot), kind of moving her legs, standing for a short while almost on her own, dressing and undressing herself. She even practices writing and begins to speak easy words like 'yes' and 'good morning'. There's a long way to go, but the progress she's made in such a short time is astonishing :) I just hope they don't release her from the hospital too soon. There's no good conditions in the apartment to continue the rehabilitation properly.
Also, my dad is so stressed out his heart is playing tricks, I'm worried... :mcgloom:

Hopefully seeing her doing a little better like that will help your dad to relax again :qh:

@River: I get that with coca-cola :mclol:

Thanks, I hope so too.

@jacob: If he feels well enough to even go to the hospital within these days. Yesterday he didn't go with us because his heart was killing him. Plus he had a lot to do in the flat anyway. I told him she was doing really well, given the circumstances and he seemed somewhat calmer, but I don't know. I will try calling him on Monday evening. Maybe he will be able to talk with grandma's doctor and he'll know something more, and then I can ask how he's doing, too.
He was so mad yesterday because he burned the tomatoes that he planned for a spaghetti sause. And he's been craving that spaghetti for a few days, but then uncle and I left for the hospital, the tomatoes were on the stove, dad drop dead tired so he dozed off on the armchair and then the tomatoes got all burned into nothing edible... :mcsweat: We ate cucumber soup instead X'D

And today I spent the whole day with Ash, walking around the Royal Łazienki Park and looking at a bunch of old stuff in the palaces and other buildings in the complex :mcglee: It was fun

Aww, I just read Aretha Franklin died :mcgloom:

Sounds like he's definitely pushing himself too hard. If you're dropping randomly asleep, you should take it as a sign to get more rest for sure :<
Also I feel bad for the tomatoes XD

Walking around the park sounds fun! That's the kind of activity I like to do whenever we go on holiday. I mean, here too, but we've already done everything nearby XD

@River: Me neither, just when I get a craving, and even then I have trouble finishing my can.

@jacob: Well, what can you do. Men don't listen in general, plus with being alone in the flat he has to take care of everything around. And taking care of hospital stuff.
Aw, yeah, we all have XD

It was fun! :D It's actually the park I grew up next to, but yesterday all the tours were for free and I said, heck, let's go see some paintings and sculptures XD We even went to the museum of hunting and horsemanship there. A lot of hunting trophies and stuffed animals x.x Gloomy and kind of sad, but impressive.

That sounds great :D

I spent the whole day out yesterday working and I feel so tired. but the exciting thing is that I got accepted to join a private members club for creative people 8D

Ooh, what is this club exactly? :mcgasp: Sounds fancy xD

I'm pushing myself with languages since yesterday. No more excuses. Now most of my day is doing language apps XD I should also try to incorporate my books into that... ;>_>
Last night all I could think of was a single sentence in Spanish (Las capitales son grandes i ruidosas LOL), and couldn't get it out of my head. Through the night I think I dreamt about doing the apps and this morning after working out (*confetti rain* right here, please, had a 5 days break, naughty me! XD) I went to shower and began literally making up conversations in Spanish, them some in Hindi.
I'm going nuts QuQ But I think it's not such a bad thing after all

That's good! It means you're starting to think more in those other languages which is closer to understanding them a lot better :D

It's called Blacks. I actually got invited directly to join instead of having to apply, you usually have to be judged haha. I was initially only going to do the trial period and then not bother going anymore, but now I've been there and seen it, I really wanted to become a full member, so I decided I will use it as my space in London where I can go whenever I have meetings or a little time between events and nothing to do.
