Ugh, yes, that would be SO useful!
I don't know how many times I've smacked my hand in frustration when I try to use cntrl + F and find out that the text I'm reading was saved as an image file instead of a text file, and it won't work.
It's just all text!
Why was it saved as an image file?!

I knoooooooooooooowww that is a pain QAQ

And then if I really want to text-ify a huge chunk of words, I have to take a picture, use the text recognition feature to convert, copy paste, then struggle with the now messed up formatting :mcsweat:

Ah, I use a Google Pixel phone, so it has a feature within its photos app called Google Lens that can extract the text from photos (provided they're not blurry) and lets you copy paste it. It's super handy! The only thing is that the process usually messes up the picture-text's original formatting (line breaks and whatnot) so you have to fix it up.

It is THE best for taking photos of the complicated wifi password on routers and then just copy-paste into the wifi connection page!

That does sound really handy.

I use a computer, though, so less immediately useful.

Wait, so if I have an image file that's all text, I can control A (select all), control c (copy) and then open a google doc and control v and it will convert it all to text????

What is this magic???
