I think Hart is actually in English (?)
Had read it on an old book and had no idea that it was talking about a deer until about 2 pages after.

Haze is right. It's not a term people often use, but a hart is a male red deer. A female deer is called a doe, but an older term is a "hind". Then there are other terms for deer like "buck" and "stag" (referring to the male deer).

Ah. I'm familiar with doe, buck, and stag but not hart. I learned something new.

I hadn't heard of stag before, but the more I know!
