Yeah.
I don't really want to give anything away.
But I thought it would be cool considering what I'm planning.
But if I can't do it, it's not really that big of a deal.
Well, kind of is, I'll just have to change the knuffel entirely.

You can change the color as much as you want, just make sure that's not the only change your Knuffel has, and there is some additional kind of evolution.

this question came up in discussion with some people i know a few times.
so the answer to commissioning a knuffel using RL money and claiming it as their own to submit is a definite no (from what i read in the front).
but how about the following 2 scenarios?
1) can person A commission a knuffel using RL money but never submit it to the site? (so essentially just using the base and the idea of evolution but not earn any :fp: from it)
similarly,
2) can person A commission a knuffel from an artist using real money, and then the artist submit it as wild knuffel? (with permission from person A of course)
so basically the commissioner still only gets a regular commission, they don't earn any :fp: from it. and the artist is just submitting like they normally do with a design that they got permission to use.
i'm curious about these questions, because i don't think everyone can find a good artist who are willing to draw a knuffel for their designs without some sort of outside incentive.

If you want to commission someone to do a "Knuffel" for you with real money, which never gets submitted to this site then this is nothing else than commissioning an artists for $ outside of KOfK and this has actually nothing to do with us. Whoever you commission to do any kind of art for you outside of KOfK is not our concern. And if you want to call it a "Knuffel" or even use the base I provided then you are free to do so, as long as you never submit it to our Wild Knuffel feature.
If you want to commission someone with real $ to do a Knuffel, and then this Knuffel should be submitted to KOfK, regardless by whom, then the answer is clearly NO.

A question: Can I give permission to other users to make use of the knuffel base I created?

I noticed Ai made a Goldilocks themed knuffel.
Does that mean that one can make an Alice in Wonderland or Little Red Riding Hood one?

As long as you use your own design for these, and not for example Disney's designs, then yes.
