I kind of have in mind to make a dark avi with only black (and maybe midnight blue? Some other dark color) with gold as the bright accent. It's not coming along great LOL

Yeah i dunno if i could make a just dark avi. Like i like having color contrasts. XD

Only black, that sounds tough to pull off.
So. A challenge!

I probably personally wouldn’t make an all dark avatar. XD;; or maybe i’d do it in shades of midnight blue and midnight purple. Theres a lot of items in that combination.

Unfortunately I sold all my skins LOL
Gonna wait for some new skins before making these dramatic avis /o/

i don't use skins...XD;; ive tried to use one or two but i always take them off afterwards...xD;;

I used to not like them either, especially the more abnormal colored ones XD I think the one I used the most was the Aries skin for how "normal" it is LOL

But now I want to play with more fantasy-dramatic avatar concepts sometimes, and find that the lack of crazy skins can be constraining in itself ^^;;;;;;

I do love the plain-colored unrealistic skins. I don't use them A LOT, but I find them great for fantasy avatars.
I'm not so much a fan of the skins with gradients though, I know people love them but often one of the shades does not work right with the avatar I had in mind.

But. yeah, pulling off an avatar like this without the black skin would be so much harder!

I think there were some doughnight ones that were…normalish? And i think there was an interesting forest fawn one. The Valentine skin is okay too, as well as the Meliae one and Pastel Goth, which are fairly normal.

I've actually been having fun with the gradient skins! The Love Bunny Skin and the Alseid skins are cool to use!

I'd really like a skin in powder blue or ice blue, like, even more cold-feeling than the arctic fox skin. I think that'd be cool *___*
