I tend to prefer softcovers because they're just more comfortable and easy to hold. They're a bit less durable but I have many softcover books I've read a dozen times and they're still intact, so they're not THAT fragile.

I actually like reading on my Nook too, it's solid but not very large. I only have free books and fanfics on it though, I never buy ebooks.

I prefer hardcover because they keep better and I feel more comfortable holding them, but if I'm in public or traveling I prefer softcover or audiobooks since it's a little more convenient.

I prefer soft-cover, easier to read and hold while snuggling in bed, tho now I have a Kindle.
I do have alot of hardbacks tho, like my Harry Potter, as here on release that's all you can buy, so they make more money... :mcomg:

I prefer the hard cover because they tend to be prettier imo.

I don't have the opportunity to buy books often, but when I do it's almost exclusively hardcover. It's more expensive, but it's a rare treat that I enjoy spoiling myself with.

I actually prefer softcover books. Because of the way I hold books, the hardcover ones eventually cramp up my hand.

I prefer hardcover but when buying them I usually get softcover because it's cheaper.

Not easy to decide. Softcovers are cheaper and also lighter to carry around, hardcovers look better and are more durable. What I eventually buy usually depends both on how much money I can afford to spend at the moment and how much I like the book I'm buying.

I almost always buy softcovers. Since I read a lot, its cheaper, and i read for hours at a time, so it's easier on my hands.
