Kingdom of Knuffel

My sister lives in a place affected by the wildfire smoke, she says it's made it challenging to be outside. Where I live, it's just unbearably hot. Have to drink a lot of water to stay cool. Doesn't help that our building is poorly insulated though.

oh it was SO hot the past few days. i just kinda panted at home lol. we don't have AC so our fans have been running nonstop.

Oh my goodness. I can't imagine not having AC where we live, we went without it a few weekends ago in a power outage for about two days and it was truly miserable. Our highs here are around 40C - yours?

i think it was in the 30s. which is pretty warm already. but the heat has broke so now its not so hot.

Its thunderstorm season where I am. The sky has been rumbling at least 3 days a week for almost a month.

It rained last night. I jumped when I heard what sounded like a literal explosion (of thunder) lol.

At 8pm at night, it was 99 degrees outside yesterday. I haven't looked today but this whole week the highs are 105+

All in all, I don't plan to go outside today to figure it out. XD

how much is that in celsius? sounds hottt.

Let's see. Today the high will be 104 which is 40 in Celsius.

With the way summer has been going, I don't imagine that it will start to cool off here until about mid-october. Summer got a bit late of a start this year so I'm pretty jealous of places where it has at least decided to rain for some relief.

Yeah it got cool again today. And it’s raining. Will rain the next few days maybe.
