Yea I originally joined Gaia in 2008 T^T
I'm so frickin old lmao

High Rise is actually an app but they have a PC app as well
It reminded me of towns on Gaia
I loved it, invested way too much money into it
I eventually left because there were so many minors
in rooms that were supposed to be for adults
I don't exactly mind interacting with kids on the internet
I was once a kid on the internet myself and had older
folks not looked out for me in those spaces I could have gotten into trouble

the problem is not everyone knows that I'm a "Safe Adult"
and I don't want to get caught up in something with some
random kid who was just saying hello
I also use gaming as a break from my own kids so
I'm not exactly thrilled to be essentially babysitting someone else's

Everskies is a similar issue, lot's of minors there but thankfully
they aren't all up in the adults only spaces
It's forums is actually groups of forums made by other users
so you join a bunch of groups and then you interact that way
There's some specifically for Art and stuff
What I like about it is you can have a plus size avi
(I'm plus sized IRL) and you can play it on your phone or web browser
no pets tho which isn't a big deal for me

I see. yeah. i don't think i've head of it. i actually don't really like using social apps all that much lol. xD;; unless you're DV and you've forced my hand and i have to post on all your social platforms. XD;;

I can only imagine. i mean, i do play app games, cooperative games and all that. but like....i'm very much a lurker player. xD all those world chats or whatnot, leave me out of it.

Yea I’ve never been one of those chat room people.
I’m friendly enough but that just seems like too much energy lol
The only social medias I use is Tiktok for my speedpaints
Tumblr mostly to keep an archive of my art
And Facebook because my friends needed a way to contact me lol

Yeah I don’t actively use any of those. Facebook is mainly for binding games. XD and posting private albums so that I have somewhere to put all my pictures.

Well now that I’m on DV I will set my shop up there first
Since there hasn’t been an art shop here in over a year
I can’t tell if that means people want a shop or not
And with the economy here being what it is I might just get my FP from making Knuffels

I know for a fact theres a desperate need for Wild knuffels
for items and such and I have ideas

oooooooo new wild knuffels would be nice. xD there hasn't been any new content for wild knuffels in years. xD

That’s rather sad actually
I happened upon a knuffel my ex best friend made at some point during my hiatus
(She introduced me to the site)
Someone was giving it away for free and I took it along with some others
Her account no longer seems to exist??
But I can still see her posts which is strange

Wild knuffel take a while to make but once I figure out a proper design
I’ll make more than one I’m sure

They probably just don’t remove posts lol. Besides, accounts can be reactivated.
It is sad but what can we do? We don’t have all that many artists here willing to go through the process. After all, you need to do like 5 different pose additions. So you either start from the completed knuffel and work your way down, removing parts. Or you start at the beginning and slowly add parts on. XD

Sorry I seemingly abandoned the hangout for a bit
I was working on a "Formula" for the knuffel
There's really specific rules so I went back and looked at the thread on it
and came up with my own rules for myself so hopefully I can get it
right on the first try and not get denied.

I was also making a wishlist thread on DV and I keep getting gifted
so I keep having to update xD

Everyone is so nice there!
Also I made a thread here to try and Sell/ trade my old
knuffels for other ones I want out of the shop

I ended up getting some maxed out ones off someone for 6
xD

I can't believe there are several knuffel's in the shop for what is essentially 60 USD
That's more than my monthly gaming allowance T^T
