nooooo never XD if I watch unboxings, it has to be a person I'm interested in. but other than that, yea, throw all the life advice, organization and time management advice, writing advice you can! XD I'll be picky with book reviews, let's plays, makeup, and nearly everything else, though

I got a ton of reading done today and yesterday. I finished The Spook's Revenge (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles #13), and I started Monstress #1.

that's nice! :) how are you liking monstress? I've heard it's controversial.
I've gotten my pre-ordered Son of a Liche and finished a term paper yesterday, so it's reading time for me as well. and I'm putting some pressure on myself because I want to review it soon so maybe it's gets somewhere high in the rating during its first week

I'm about halfway through Monstress #1. I don't know anything about it other than what I have read so far. I didn't even read the summary on the back or any reviews. I like it so far. I was surprised at how adult it is though. I just assumed that it was a teen one because most of the ones that I read are.

I'm the same way, I can't not buy a bunch at the library sale no matter how many books I already have!
I was having some work done at the house again this weekend, so I read about half of A New Darkness by Joseph Delaney.

I ended up getting the full boxset of the Mortal Instruments series because we've been watching the TV show. I read all of them except the last one, and I was getting nostalgic from seeing the characters again XD

I thought my book-buying problem was getting better but then i bought three more the other day. I told myself I deserved it though because I'd stayed up alll night working on stuff.
What do you think about the Mortal Instruments? I've got the first book but i haven't read it yet.

I really liked it, in a guilty pleasure kind of way. I didn't read any YA at all really until the Hunger Games, and since I enjoyed that a lot, I started letting myself read more YA. Out of all the YA series I've picked up since then, I think this is my favourite.
Don't get me wrong, it's not flawless. But I think I love to hate the bits I hate about it, as well as loving the other bits, if that makes sense. Sometimes I would complain out loud about a certain character being stupid or a plot point being obvious, but I was still hooked enough to read all of them while I had the chance to, watch the movie, and also watch the TV series XD So all in all I'd recommend.
Also the box set came today... I may share a photo if I remember, because it looks so pretty
