It’s really funny to me because I remember Inu Yasha being on Cartoon Networks Adult Swim, along with Full Metal Alchemist and Trinity Blood and a few other anime’s over the years and it’s always been funny to me because they’re not really that “adult” to me now but they do deal with dark themes I guess.

On a Saturday? XD I rarely get packages on the weekends unless it’s some expresss thing from Amazon or something.

CrystalOwl: I think the 3 most 'adult' anime I've seen on Adult Swim were Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, and Blue Gender... Except they actually CUT what made it all adult themed out.

Outlaw Star had a WHOLE episode removed because it was hotspring based and every female was nude.. =w= Poor Aisha fans were wanting that one. Me being 13ish at the time I saw it, I was so confused. One episode they were on their way to get special Caster Shells, the next episode they had them and were off to the Galactic Layline... Never occured to me they'd cut a whole episode out. xD

Blue Gender had a sex scene. It was shown in the "Next Episode!" previews.. so I told everyone I knew at school about this sex scene coming up in the next episode... and it got cut out from the episode... that aired on night ADULT programing... and I got called a lair..
Years later I buy the DVD boxset.. guess which disk was damaged and which episode ON said disk wouldn't work. =w= haha...

Tenchi Muyo.. Harem, lots of nudity.. of course a lot of it was censored or cut.. x"D not to mention half the story was rearranged so when I bought the dvd's I didn't recognize the show! I thought I bought one of the alternate storylines because damn does the Tenchi Franchise have a lot of those -w-,


InuYasha was more for teens and could of aired during the day time Toonami but it got put on the adult block due to the violence and the little nudity it had.


I stopped watching off of cartoon network and just started downloading or buying dvd/blurays.. tv censors too much stuff >w>, People complain about 'warning may include rape and other violent graphics' warnings popping up on the show or even mist/smoke/steam/black bar censors (haha My Girlfriend is a Gal, their censors were the best haha) It's obvious they never watched anime off regular tv. =w= Complete scenes and episodes removed from the show to censor it. x'D
