You've got a large, fluffy, somnolent Temple Dog as a companion. Super-sized, but mostly just sleeps. The fur is also super-sized and people mistake him for a car-sized pillow on occasion.
But when you can wake him up, he'll let you ride him and he is super fast!

I just discovered that you have a special life-form familiar which is a hive-mind; it's a whole swarm of bats that shares senses and is interconnected in a rather mystical way.

Most of the time it is more or less shaped like the silhouette of an abnormally tall and skinny bat-winged horse.
