I love that point of view Demareth! Agreed that many people put too much weight on someone's sex, or even gender when it comes down to it. There needs to be more people focused on the individual rather than stuffing them haphazardly into poorly labeled boxes.
I think we are heading towards that, as more people acknowledge that we naturally classify people, and then fight against it.
And bbfsies with Eru? I don't know, but that sounds nice to me...

I'm Serra's 'the one'?
Ahahahaha~ -feels head is expanding-
And I'd love to be bffsies
I remember the very first person I really talked to on this site. She really helped me a lot, considering I never had the courage to talk or chat in the forums. She's now inactive on the site, but we keep in touch on facebook.
... Maaaaaannn, good thing I have some of my closer friends on here on Facebook o.o

Hahaha ^_^
Meeting people here helped me break out of my fear of the public. Having friends on here to chat with helped me become more outgoing in real life ... although I still need more work with that. I'm slowly finding myself interact with others like how interact with he users here. I'm actually welcoming and sometimes starting conversations! -gasp-
Compared to the super 'are you mute' self I was in elementary and high school ... Aaaaaa, this is so much better
Spoiler
Edit: @ Demareth - I'm trying to get you the Cowboy Vest ... but we'll have to wait and see if the seller is still selling it

I'm an introvert, pure and simple. But I like people. I like friends. I just have no idea how to make them on purpose
Follow that up with my abandonment anxiety and I just have a hard time making friends. But those that I do bond with are that much more special because of it!
(Unrelated: Someday I think I need to study how to shade things rather than go with "well it looked good this way" XD)

I know the feeling. Making friends after that awful time ... now they're so very precious to me
They may be a bit overprotective ... but to me, they're my little children that I have to protect as well.
What I did (in mouselandia and SAI) was select an area I want to work on, like a limb or a shirt, then use either airbrush or a normal brush and paint in the shadow then a highlight after. I try to imagine the source of the light then see if I can actually shade the parts I want to shade in.
Unrelated: More torso goodness
I might need to use a mantra or mandala or something for this one as well ... it lacks ... more red.

Eru! I do understand
It's not so much the method, I select my area and then darken what I want to shade and lighten what I want to highlight. But I don't know how to shade "with a light source" technically and I shade on instinct on what i think it should look like. And I'm sure I'm not always correct. I just use other things that I look at to help me decide how to shade things. I'm just avoiding taking the time to view a tutorial or actually practice outside of drawing my usual stuff...
By the way, that better be an invoker you are aiming at yourself and not a handgun D:
(was all ready to draw you then you switch avatars and state something is missing XD)
