Hey btw Chrizine you ordered that green lolita skirt right? Has it arrived yet? :P

Puh, just finished glueing the pattern :)
Now it needs to properly dry, so most likely I'll start cutting fabric and sewing during easter :)

Unfortunately, they informed me some time after I ordered that the skirt was sold out in green :(
I tried ordering it from a different site, thinking that they might still have it actually in stock, but they ended up telling me it wasn't available anymore either.
Both sites offered to switch to the red version, but I didn't want that, since I really thought it was especially pretty in the dark green and having it in a different colour would just be reminding me that I didn't get the green forever.
So yeah, I gave up on that :(
Maybe I'll find a different one that I like some time down the line, but right now none of the others I found really spoke to me as much.

And then it was a bit of a fuss with the second site, because they never reacted to my mail that I didn't want to switch to red and I had to open an issue through paypal because they'd already gotten the payment. That went super well though, once I messaged them through there, they refunded me within a day, no issues. So it had probably just been forgotten. There was already some mess when I first ordered that I didn't hear back and couldn't sign into their page and when I messaged them about it they said they'd been fusing with another site and their databases got somewhat messed up in the process or something. So my order and account was initially just lost. Overall not the best experience, it seemed like they're just not very well organized.

which site was that? I have experience with both lolita-dress and glitzy and all my orders went super smooth. S'why I recommended them, kind of sad to hear you got such trouble with them :/

Maybe they're the kind of resellers that go smooth when everything is in order/stock but the moment there's a hiccup they can't handle the logistics :'v

Ah, it wasn't one of those you recommended, I had googled around a bit trying to find that skirt somewhere. It was www.lolitadressesshop.co.uk/
glitzy were really nice, they even said they'd send a little something as a gift if I took the skirt in red, since they were sorry to disappoint me. I seriously considered it, since I also liked the skirt in red, but I was still hoping to get my hands on the green one from the other site and I was worried I'd be unhappy with the red one because of the reminding me of the green I didn't get thing.

What a bummer that it did not work out with that skirt :/

Yeah, it would have been super nice...
But I guess it wasn't meant to be. I saved money that way at least ;)
And I got me a new corset in dark green velvet instead :)
