Well I sometimes buy extra limited monthly items and throw them on my buy sell list thread so check it out if you ever want to.
I feel like every time they say there’s an aurora, I always miss it bc it’s cloudy or there’s too much light pollution or whatnot.

I will definitely remember that next time I'm out of TT for the monthly item. I have missed out on some really good ones because of it.
For me, I'm usually too far south. I don't spend much time that far north because these achy bones can't tolerate the cold. It's a bummer, though - that's where some of the best forests are.

I keep missing aurora's because of clouds too! The eclipse from last year also got blocked by clouds so even though we were in almost 100% totality, it was hard to see.

i saw the eclipse. it was kinda hard to miss because the entire sky literally just went completely dark. it was like......night time. i saw a live shot of it as well on the tv where they were filming at the beach and it was literally like......night. like no lights, nothing, just darkness.
there was quite a bit of cloud cover here too but the sun did peek out a few times so we got to see it.

Yeah we got the total darkness but we could see nothing else. Upstate NY is very cloudy.

Yeah it was pretty trippy to see how dark it got. Like there weren’t even lights. Like even tho the night sky is dark, it’s not truly dark dark.

It got so dark here that it triggered the parking lot lights to turn on because they automatically turn on when it gets dark.

Yeah same here. But it’s way different for the sky. Since it’s technically daytime, there’s like no stars. Just like the entire sky just turned off the lights. When I was watching that live footage from the beachfront, it was just. DARK. like. Over the water. Nothing. No lights no stars. Like the apocalypse was coming. It was freakyy.

I've only been in one full eclipse. The temperature noticeably dropped too, which was pretty neat.
