Well yeah, definitely. I pored over anatomy and proportions guides and I think for the most part it's working out really well.

I've had people say they are jealous of my "mastery of proportions" and that surprised me a little

Yayayay!
I have issues with proportion sometimes but im usually drawing from a model.

I watch youtube videos of things i want to learn and i tend to pick things up that way a lot of the time.

I found a couple visual guides on Deviant Art and used those for practice when I did my 30 day challenge. Really helped me refine my skills.

Drawing a comic has been excellent practice!

I should hope so hehe. I've been thinking about doing a comic for a while... maybe when i find my tablet XD

It's a lot of fun! My writing style seems made for it, even if I have trouble with the composition sometimes...

Layout sometimes seems the hardest.

Comics are a whole artform in and of itself
A whooole lot goes into them i have tons of respect for the genre

Yeah, me too. I remember when I did my first comic panel style thing. It was a whole lot of fun, and I think helped remove that suppressant I had in place mentally about doing a webcomic.

Heck yeah a lot of the time it's just starting that's the problem.
