yeah in a way its an upgrade. The same rules apply here where you have to be a pharmacist to own a pharmacy. I don't want to own one though. I want to work in a hospital or specialty ambulatory clinic. I already worked in both of those settings as a tech and there is a limit to what I could do. I just ordered and mixed drugs or refilled medication dispensing machines. As a pharmacist I can help make clinical decisions and improve patient safety. I also would get paid a lot more and would be offered the opportunity to be a part of clinical trials. Here being a pharmacist is kinda like being a slightly less qualified medical doctor.

@Hotarla:
Yeah, finishing early feels great. "Mission accomplished" kind of great :mcgrin:
I'm done too, so now I'm staying for the donuts and to work on my item guide, which is going slowly but is starting to have a proper shape.

@lunar:
It's quite the same as here, then.
When you have a minor issue you don't even care going to the doctor, just go ask the pharmacist what they would suggest.
And they are usually nicer than doctors too.

Yeah it really does Amura. Events tend to stress me out because there’s deadlines and time limits and stuff. The sooner i get through it, the better. 8u

I'm of the same mind.
If there is something that I know would make me anxious, I do it as quickly as possible. Just to get rid of the problem before it grows into something I can't control.

Which is why some people think I'm extremely efficient - I am not, I just want to get rid of certain tasks quickly!
Others - the ones which won't make me anxious - I can procrastinate forever :mclaugh:

Yeah most pharmacists I k now are nicer than physicians, although I have found some exceptions to the rule. Usually those people work in the hospital setting which is where I want to work.

Yeah same Amura. Also, I can’t do more than one thing at a time. I hate it when, at work, i’m in the middle of something and then someone else smacks something down in front of me to do and i’m like “which should i do first? 8u”

So like don’t make me multitask at work. Cuz i will get confused. 8u

I'm of the belief that nobody can actually do well more than one thing at a time.
Yeah, sure, you can multitask, but then your attention is divided and therefore you are making mistakes in both of them.
I want my full attention for whatever I am doing. That way you are faster as well, and you get done in less time.

Gotta say that lately I'm having issues to keep focused for large periods of time, I get headaches when I try, which I've heard might be a sequel of covid.

Yeah and yet employers sometimes just expect you to be able to work at several things at once. 8u

Its super common in hospital environments due to covid and awful staffing. I hate it.
