No, I mean the one we talk in :mclaugh: . Rejection one seems more for... rejected knuffel...

I wrote in the rejection thread a couple of days ago, but I didn't get any answers... so, I hope it's alright if I repeat myself here:

jacobgrey wrote:I've been working on a new knuffel for a little while, but I've been really not sure from the start whether he would be allowed for a few reasons (mostly because I'm not sure if this counts properly as evolution). I went ahead and made him anyway just because it was fun, but I figured I would ask here rather than putting in a submission straight away. Also because there are some things I would tidy up in his final stage if I were to submit him, but there is no point putting more time in if he won't be accepted anyway!

Enough preamble, here is his spoiler image

OHHH now I get it! Excuse me while I dig myself a hole as I am a bit slow today~~

Alrighty, so I use SAI Paint Tool to make my knuffel. My next knuffel is a boy and while his eyes and skin came out fine, I am afraid his hair shade is irking me. I wanted to make it look more life-like, but its not going as well as I would have hoped. Instead of having an art slump, maybe I am having a shade slump? xD

Oh also, I don't have a tablet. In fact, I am using a touchpad. xD Although that hasn't stopped me yet, maybe someone can help me figure out what to do with his hair shade. Any feedback is appreciated! <3

Touchpad @.@
You're crazy D:
I like his eyes. To be honest, the only thing that disturbs me about his hair is how the front ones seem more shiny and detailed (you can see hair strokes) and ones on the side (right side mainly) seem colored in simplier way, looking like if they aren't finished yet.

jacob> to be honest, I don't know. He seems to evolve for me, but I'm not sure how Firn would see it... Guess it would be best to just try submitting him, you don't lose anything either way o.o

Doku> thank you very much :) I really like her 4th stage.

Ama: Thank you, I really wasn't finished since I needed feedback since I didn't know if I should keep doing what I was doing with the hair strokes or not...do I keep them? Someone also suggested putting some more orange-y highlights, but every time I try that it does not work out the way I want it to...should I try to still add more orange or just leave the hair color as it is?

Time for work, I will be back on here later! <3

@Venee: Maybe make the shine more prominent? Well, I am not the one to talk as I never got the hang of it.

@amalath: You are welcome. Stage 3 was my favorite.

@Vee
If you want to try doing the orange highlight thing, try this color: #6A3C00
Also, highlights are very small and faint (at least mine are) so it might be a bit hard to do them. But what you have been doing for the left side seems to be working great in my opinion. :3 I would keep going with that if I were you.

As for the touch pad, those things drive me nuts! I usually turn mine off (love how my new laptop can do that~ :qh: ) so I don't know how you have the patients to use it. @_@ I personally use the mouse because I have no choice really (I don't own a tablet either :qhehe: ) but to make smoother lines I use the pen tool in GIMP because I can't draw lines too well with a mouse unless they are really small. :mcblush:
