Poor thing... SNAIL MURDERER!!!!

I'm thinking I need to switch from the tap water to the spring water we use... the snails need a higher KH in the water than what the tap is giving me. The spring water has what I need.. it's just.. getting more crates of water will cost us more munz >A< Tap water is free (included with rent >w>)

I keep harassing my mom and sister not to step on them too.
I can usually avoid it but sometimes I step on one =~=

When we had a fish, we were told we should use purified water for it.
I didn't know anything about fish xD;

Purified water doesn't have any minerals the fish need, you'd need to add the minerals yourself if you go that route.

Tap water tends to contain bad stuff like Chlorine and Ammonia (my issues) and you'd need to filter those out of the water before adding it to the tank... Hiro's been knocking over the Zeolite I use to filter the Ammonia. So I'ma switch to spring water...


Spring Water should be tested before use, every company does different things to their water. Sure some leave it as is, some boil it before hand to kill off bacteria, and others actually purify it making it not spring but purified. -A- Some companies add salt. =/


The spring water we get, luckily has a nice KH and GH and 0 Ammonia. Only reason I didn't use it beforehand... Money =A=
I am hoping 1 extra crate of water doesn't add too much wallet strain >A<


o3o We named the Nerite Snail.. Gomera...
Any Detective Conan fans? (as in Japanese version, not the Case Closed butchered dub?) Gomera is what they call Godzilla in the anime (Like how Pepsi is Bepsi and Playstation is Baystation.. xD)

This snail is HUGE compared to Dude.. so.. Gomera >w> (aka Godzilla >:D)

All I know is the fish lived for like a month and died and I feel horrible for killing it u8
