I've looked into working at home but I felt I needed more skills. Thus going to tafe.

but tafe is full time soo I have no real time for a job even if at home.

I tried working while I was at school and that just did not pan out well. Ended up getting fired and I almost failed some classes. Ugh.

People expect way too much from college age people. We need to give them a break.

Me too. I'm amazed by some people's boundless energy.
So jealous. lol. I wish that I had some energy.

Yea I was talking about TED talks xD (apparently the capital letter make the difference, lol).
I love this platfrom, it is amazing! I've seen talks from all kinds of fields and even though I cannot remember everything from these talks it feels enriching. I reeeally learned A LOT.
About once a day I start a sentence in a conversation with "I've once seen a TED talk about this." :D

I am actually working and studying both at the same time. But only 7 months a year and I only do about 40-50 hours per month.

I think it was the lack of the 'talks' part that was confusing. Like we thought there was a show called Ted. lol.

I like them a lot too. It's been a little while since I last watched one. I should go check em out. Are they all on the same channel? I assume so.

I can't do that kind of shit. I can't even function not doing anything. I get so bored being stationary most of the time. I'm just really glad that I'm alive in a time where I can still get some social interaction through the internet. Also being able to have shows and movies streamed to my house. Plus books and video games.

A lot of my friends work and study at the same time too! One of my friends showed me her schedule because we had an assignment together, and it was completely booked with school and job So we had to meet at a specific time on a Friday lol

That just sounds awful.
Being too busy to do a homework assignment.
I do not miss those days.

Yeah.... if it comes down to it, I hope she chooses school over her job, especially because she's working only to get pocket money
