WAH. I've been so busy the past week. D8 I sort-of-might-have-randomly taken the GAMSAT and got a good mark and now I want to be an army doctor so I've been doing heaps of research and talking to real army doctors about what it's like. I am so exhausted even though all I've been doing is have coffee dates lol O_O;

What did you end up making with that almond flour? o 3o I did a bit of googling and it seems like you can make pretty much anything with almond flour that you can make with normal flour. I suggest pancakes. Pancakes make everything good.

Haha I read somewhere that humans get depressed during winter because our ancestors used to hibernate... and that desire to hibernate is still in our subconscious. So we feel more tired and grumpy about going outside when it's cold and dark and blah.

Duck is amaze. It's so much better than chicken. *w* Duck and bamboo shoot noodle soup with ginger sauce sounds like heaven. My mouth is watering right now oAo. I also love peking duck. And having duck with Thai curries. Duck > everything.

Pearls are so good. I remember laughing at the warnings on drinks with pearls about being careful not to choke on them... until I choked on one. ^^; I was laughing at a joke while drinking... heh. 30% sugar. Yep, sounds like Po. Green tea is the best. I love green tea icecream! My go-to drink when I had EasyWay was Green apple green tea with green apple jelly....... only because I loved saying it. TBH it wasn't that amazing. >>

Haha I like big dogs. Like the massive kinds that when they get on their hind-legs, they can put their paws on your shoulders. I went to a party recently at a house where they had a beautiful german shepherd. She was 12 years old and has bone cancer but still tried to "herd" the horses when we went to feed them. My sister joked that it sounded like she was barking "HEY! HEY! HEYHEYHEY!!!" and since we were feeding the horses hay... HAHAHAHAHAHA bad pun.

Anyways, I loved her. >w< And I want a massive dog at some point. I'm thinking of adopting an ex-military/police dog (usually german shepherds), as some of them have to be put down after their period of service if no one can take them :C. I need to first resolve this allergy thing though. ^^ I think it has subsided as I've gotten older, though, as my symptoms are quite mild now (sniffly nose and slightly watery eyes as opposed to asthma and puffed-up face).

If I get a cat, I would get a ragdoll one. They're cats that become floppy when you pick them up. I always get a giggle out of that. Sounds like you enjoy your teeny weeny cutesy pets! It seems like you're a little human so that makes sense haha ^^. Have you ever wanted a tea-cup piglet? They're super cute.

Haha wellllll I can't stop you from eating dirt :P. But I'm not sure if it would help much now that you're all grown up and your immune system has established itself. I think it matters most when your immune system is still learning to decide what's "tolerable" and what's "not tolerable".

Haha I'm sure your parents approve. I wanted to be a fashion designer (facepalm) at one point during highschool and my parents were like "designer = HOBBY, NOT CAREER" and yeahhhhhh. >_____>; I'm glad they set me on the right path, though. Science requires you to be quite creative too, and at least you know you're creating something that may one day save someone's life.

Or were they trying to pick on the sleeping person? Our classes are usually too big to be interactive unless it's a sociology lecture then things get different.

Most classes discussions are encouraged, yes. Unless they're like, first year classes with 500 students. Even then, you get the occasional questions thrown out here and there.

He's a year older and back then I was studying Psych c: I wouldn't mind dating someone doing the same classes as me. We can study together but I guess it'd suck having to see them all the time, every day =x=;

I've actually heard that kids grow up healthier when they eat dirt when they're young. I have seen no studies to back it up, though.

I should have it again sometime when it's not so cold. Pearls 4 life. I really don't like the flavoured jellies. Sometimes I'll op for aloe vera if they're out of pearls though. Flavoured jelly competes with the drink too much or it just blends in. I don't want that.

I like big dogs too *U* I love huskies. I think they're beautiful. My friend has a massive dog like that and he's a lab. Every time he jumps on people they fall over or stumble. He's a fat lab >> German shepherds would require a lot of exercise. I think a fairly lazy dog/mildly energetic dog would suit me.

I don't think that particular allergy can be fixed. Can it? Unless they have immunotherapy for it? I hate the sounds of immunotherapy though :s I had an acquaintance go through it and she absolutely hated it. Do you have asthma as well?

I wouldn't want a teeny weeny pet. I'm afraid I might kill it by stepping on it or sitting on it D: I wouldn't want that! They'd be so small and fragile.

I'll think twice now about judging parents that let their kids roll on the carpet at the bank or supermarket. Maybe they're doing their kids good by letting them be slobs.

All my parents said to me was, "be doctor/work in medicine," so I was like OK, "ENGINEER!" Every one was really shocked at my choice. Even my doctors. Maybe they think I'm too frail to be an engineer. There are many hands on components.

I think google is a good way to start. "Why won't chrome save my searches." The instructions should be fairly clear from there on.

For most of my lectures its students asking questions but when too many questions are asked it's frustrating for everyone because the lesson doesn't continue and we're short on time. Engineering at UNSW is a pain. There's only one stream of classes a year and if you don't enrol in time you need to wait for next year. Thus why the classes are so large even up to 4th year.
Tutorials and labs are where we're able to hold discussions.

I love the floppiness of ragdolls. ;A; But their thick fur and friendliness are not my thing. Too close to a dog!

Dogs get close to me when I'm not expecting it and I get freaked out. >_> And they need too much love. |D

@Po-po-man: GAMSAT was definitely no walk in the park. I spent about a month studying for it and coupled with my science background I managed to do ok. I think for people who come from an Arts degree would definitely find it harder than I did. That said, one of the people I was getting advice from did an Arts degree and got into USYD med school which is the best in NSW ^^.

HHHD! That'll send my GPA through the roof! I'm sending all my essays to Prof. Po, master of all disciplines in the future.

Allergen immunotherapy is probably the only way of getting a permanent fix to allergies (even then, it might not work... some peoples' immune systems just refuse to learn). Lots of side effects though. Not surprised your friend hated it. Did her allergy end up being resolved? I'm not interested in getting immunotherapy hahaha... just hoping that my allergy has diminished as I've gotten older (sometimes that randomly happens, there are cases where allergies suddenly disappear and then reappear, too) and hoping that it's at a point where an antihistamine once a day can reduce enough inflammation for me to function.

I don't have asthma in the classic case, where it's triggered by intense exercise. My windpipe can swell up when I get an allergic reaction (to dogs, dust or mould) which gives me asthma-like symptoms.

Do you have any allergies?

So I took the GAMSAT on a whim and realised that hmm... an MD won't hurt when it comes to getting grant money for research . Do you know what type of engineer you want to be?

I probably hate pancakes from bad child hood memories. My parents used to get me Maccas pancakes and I'll eat it in the car with those honey satchels. They made me throw up. I think it was eating in the car that made me sick. I do suffer from a lot of motion sickness but I've come to associate sickness with pancakes >> Thus, my hate for pancakes. The smell of pancakes really makes me ill.

I kind of like the beach? I hate the sun, sand and wind and I can't swim but the water is nice. I do enjoy the coastal walks as well c: Have you done any of them. I want to try hiking this year/next year!

I know yumcha serves mango crepes not mango pancakes o: I like crepes especially because they come stuffed with fruit and cream. Mmmmmm.

YES YES! Wintery dogs/dogs that look like wolves! They're so cute. They probably would find it difficult to live in Australia or you'd have to shave them/cut their hair short so they don't over heat. Fat cats are hilarious but they're just a puddle of goop. They're so lazy and don't do anything. It's not very fun or healthy to have a fat cat. My neighbours's cat is fat c:

I don't even know how I got asthma as a child. I have classic asthma I guess. I get so puffy after quidditch or pilates. I try not to use my Ventolin as I find I can get reliant on it.

I have too many allergies ;___; Take them away. I'm allergic to your regular stuff like animals, mixed feed, german cockroaches, dustmites etc I got the patch test done last year and found I'm also allergic to ethylparaben, nickel, cobalt, chromate, sorbitan oleate and cetosteryl alcohol. I should probably remember to get my bilingual retainers removed seeing as they're metal. Probably shouldn't have it permanently fixed to my face >>

I also like how FireFox doesn't activate a tab from the previous session unless you click on it whereas Chrome starts it all whether you need it this session or not.

I've definitely had classes where I felt like yelling at the professor to take it to office hours. Especially Philosophy. There was a professor who was particularly bad at that. The first class, one woman started screaming about how the author of our textbook was discriminating against Catholics because of one of the examples used by the author and dragged it on and on. Did the class have a hand in writing the textbook? No. Did the class have a hand in choosing the textbook? No. Write a letter to the author and yell at the professor for choosing the book during office hour. Don't waste our time!

I think dogs are better than cats at not snuggling at the wrong time, if you train them right. My boyfriend's roommate trained his dog to go to his bed when he's eating because he doesn't like it when dogs beg. Maybe you can train the dog to go take a nap when you've got your mat out or in front of your games. Cats probably won't listen.

The first time I ate a mango, I threw up. So I don't touch mangoes unless I can't help it. I haven't thrown up since then, but the association is pretty strong so that I don't like mangoes anymore. I understand your pancake aversion, Po. But lol crepes are just basically really thin stuffed pancakes.

I like the beach when I'm with the right people. My best friend from highschool, I love her, but I hate going to the beach with her. All she does is lie in the sun for hours on end, tanning. I hate tanning.

Ok, your settings are really messed up on Chrome hahaha. I don't get that at all and mine appears to be on default settings any way. Every tab is a fresh tab for me unless Chrome crashes then I get everything back.

Omg, philosophy x_x I can't help but think half of the arts students are insane. No offence to any arts students. Sometimes their arguments make sense, other times it just feels like it's coming out of their ass.

YES. FLUFFY WHITE DOGS *U* Dogs with white coats must get so dirty though but they're so glorious when clean. I prefer cat breeds that act as dogs really.

I get that with ripe mangoes as well :s It's probably the texture. It makes me salivate oddly in the back of my jaw, you know the kind that tells you you're going to puke?

But the fact that they're reallllllyyy thin and stuffed with fruit and cream means that I don't feel sick when eating them because it's an entirely different texture. It's the sponge like texture in a flat form that really gets me with pancakes. I also hate english muffins for that same reason ._. inclusive of the fact that they're just straight up ugly.

I hate JUST tanning as well. I tried it once (not really) as all I really did was put my maxi dress on, pulled my legs inside the dress, put a hat on my face and slept. I don't like the idea of increasing my chances of skin cancer. I usually go with friends that enjoy beach hoping and we'd walk along the coast going from beach to beach. Sometimes we snorkel or they snorkel because I'm terrified of fish.

Nope, was never attacked. And not scared of dogs in general, just those suddenly approaching. It's kinda odd. XD
