Shoot, almost to the end of the month, have to get a bunch of last-minute feeds and playing in!


For the drawing challenge, I don't know what you're working on particularly, but are you trying to do a separate piece every single day, or just some progress on drawing every single day?
So for instance, you could do one scene/picture a week, and each day of the week work on a different part of that?

Like one week could be an Edward Gorey tribute week, and one week could be a Walt Kelly (Pogo possum! Although I think my favorite character is Porky Pine.) -style strip, seven panels long and each day you do a different panel, and one week you could be working on how to do caricatures (each day maybe do a Google image search for "funny expression" or "foreign politician" and draw the first face you see), and one week could be all about shading, so you spend the first day doing six identical line-drawings and the next days shading each one differently (change where the light is coming from on each one maybe)...
If you do each week a different theme, you only have to come up with 52 themes, instead of 365 different things.

Maybe one week you try and reproduce a famous artwork you really like, but either make it black and white (if it's color) or color it (if it's black and white).

And one week you can do a self-portrait, either spending all week on one nice one or doing a quick version each day with different aspects/styles

And one week you could do quick sketches, not full drawings, so maybe watch a tv show and try and sketch each actor/actress as they appear, before they go off-screen


And one week you can work on movement -use a youtube video clip of a dancer, maybe, and each day do the same part of it, but try and improve a little from the previous day


And one week you could work just on hands, or another week just on feet

And one week you could work on fur textures, or feather textures

And one week you could do botany stuff, work on drawing recognizable plants

...

I am FULL of ideas, I guess, this is the fifth time I've edited to add more.

Hello everyone!
Just wondering if I could join in here~!
I have some extra time on my hands (Holidays) And I can go around and feed others knuffels :)

And that drawing a day challenge sounds really fun!
How are you going with it?

I am sure it isn't!
Do you draw on paper or electronically ?

Atm, I drew a picture on paper and now I am making an electronic version of it. I usually do not do this, but I want to practice using photoshop and illustrator.
