well I had like over 8 friends in high school but only ended up keeping in touch with one or two after we graduated. The first 2 best friends at the time thought I'd say no to things, my parents were kinda strict at times and mum wouldn't let me sleep over often.

So like they thought because of that, that I'd not go.

but luckily I'm still friends with Claire and she became my new best friend, and then I made friends later with Chloe who moved closer and we're all besties :) but now I live in another state to them but we still talk on fb.

Uh probably a year or two.. cert 4's are a year each.. maybe more if you struggle with it.

As it is I have 3 units left not 4.. and I've hit holiday mode.

@light: that reminds me of an ex-colleague from my current job. She was missing out a lot of days because she's been in hospitals etc. due to her illness (I can't remember what it was, some kind of syndrome) and they eventually fired her because she was absent more often than she was at work.

of my 3 best friends 2 are long distance now, one lives in the Netherlands and the other is going to go to Israel, but we keep in touch every single day :)

my other bff is like my soulmate, I'm extremely lucky we stuck like glue since the moment we met and now we're living together c:

I've got one best friend that I've had since elementary school. She's really awesome. She's very funny and kind. I love hanging out with her.

And then of course my husband is my BEST friend. I tell him literally everything. We understand each other so well. It's wonderful. Though we do both deal with a lot of stress and stuff. That part isn't great. lol.


memoriam - Yeah, it really sucks though. Like I understand it's a company and it has it's bottom line and all that jazz but it's not like I was missing because I wanted to. AND I was really good at my job. I had almost the highest rankings out of my whole group. People loved me. And I loved helping them.

I wish that there was a way that I could have worked from home. That would have been a lot easier. But the past is the past. Oh well.

light, I am sorry that this did not work out just because of your illness.. It is indeed very frustrating...

I am am best friends with a girl I know since elementary school as well! We were normal friends at first but are besties since 10th grade.

I think try to make the flat tidier again. Maybe somehow get rid of those two old tv's in the spare room.

Game a lot. Try to have some friends over too.. Also try to get out more over the time too even though I know I'll want to hermit.

I'll see how that plan goes though
