I played some sports. Most of them became solitary sports when I got older because to be honest I'm not that much of a team player.

tbh i'm the same. i don't like working or playing in teams. xD;; i'm a bit of a loner. it shows with my literal zero rl friends. online friends, like ya'll on kofk and the like, yeah i got them. xD;;

Yeah, I'm unhealthy too.
It's just that I don't find any pleasure in them.
I've always been a book kind of person, and grew up into a computer kind of person I suppose.

Yeah, im also a book person, more often than not, you’d see me hanging in a corner reading rather than socializing. XD;;

For me that's the perfect test for introvert VS extrovert.

What would you rather do: Hang out with your friends or read a book?

I used to just used to do a lot of alone sports like swimming, and archery.

I'm a total introvert, but I think my real hangup with sports is the competitive element. I dislike losing, and knowing there's a risk I'll lose makes me not want to play. Sometimes, I can go into an activity not caring if I win or lose, but if there's a team of people that care that I might let down, I'd rather not play. I like moving and being active, but I want activities like hiking or biking or yoga where I can feel like I've won every time.

This friend of mine, who was my roommate in college, is like that too. We did never bother even getting a tv; we would sit in the couch, each with a book, and let hours pass by.
Every once in a while one would make a remark to the other (awww, this character did this or that!!!) and that was all our conversation.
I remember this one birthday party (I was born on the 15th and she on the 16th, and we always celebrated together), we invited our friends to dinner and then THEY went out to party afterwards, while we both stayed home reading xD

I also do the same with my husband.
I just hope our son learns soon to shut up while he reads, and this is gonna be blissful XD
