Haha, yes toxic! How did you find out? :)
Well, technically the guitar should be a lute, but we don't have that :D
It's actually fantasy, but most of the magic is kind of sciency, apart from one branch of it. He goes to university to learn it and works in something very similar to a lab there, that's why I chose that bg.
Those books are a great read, highly recommend them!

I think the books are quite popular by now (yeah, not twilight-level famous, but enough that they'll be turned into movies), but if you don't read, that'd obviously still be unlikely for you to know them.

Well, the third installment of the trilogy is not out yet, so we don't really know! We do know that the main chara himself survives, since the story is framed by him telling his story to another character, but we obviously don't know about the other characters. There have been no heart-wrenching deaths so far though. But there are strong hints that things won't turn out all nice and sunny, but then again, everything is open when it comes to what happens in the timeline of the frame story in the end, since there is also stuff going on hinting that it's more than simple framing.

It's gonna go on the "maybe" list then, I need the end before I can think about reading it xD That's why it's hard for me to find actual stories to read even if it sounds nice !

That does sound like it'd make things more difficult, yes. I'm different, I like the suspense of not knowing what kind of story I'm getting and whether it will make me cry in the end :D

Spoiler: rambling
Suspense is ok if no one important dies. I'm a huge HP fan, and sometimes I'm like "it's ok, they're dead, I know it since a long time" but in fact not at all -_- I'm not over it yet and never will :o Dead and sad endings are the only reason I need the end xD I do not intend to ruin the suspense but well, I don't care. I need to know it's happy-ever-after xD I hate this fashion now where everything has to be sad+death all over because it's sooo grown up and mature and it apparently means quality. Even when you watch series, movies... Makes me mad :mcargh: Especially cause it doesn't actually serve a purpose most of the time. Well it doesn't make their "average-to-meeh' stories better.

another easy one, even if you don't know her I guess xD

Yeah, I definitely agree that not everything needs to be grim and dark all the time. That's one kind of story, and it has it's place, but I'd rather have a bunch of different kinds of stories.
For HP, I loved how the first few books had so much happiness and fun times in them and I stopped after the fifth one for years since that was just not the same anymore. By now I've read the last ones and enjoyed them as well, but I do find they're quite a lot darker in tone. I think I might actually have been a bit too young for them when I first listened to the fifth book.

As for your new cosplay - is it Biene Maja? Wait, what is she called in english?? ... Wikipedia says Maya the bee. Well, I guess I could have guessed that :D

I still can't read the last 2 books ! I know like everything that happens in it cause I've been spoiling myself like crazy over time, but if I read it, it'll be too real :mcsquee: I'd say I was too young too back then but actually now people that age, they tend to have a lot more of death-stories, so maybe they're more accustomed to it too.

No it's not Maya !
