That sounds more like what my family calls shabushabu than what's called hot pot around where I live.
If he decided on what you're going to bring, I certainly hope he's going to do a bulk of the work.

My specialties are baked goods and rice dishes! Luckily, my fiancee really likes my cooking...actually, everyone does...never mind!

Ahaha I know the foods wouldn't be new, but the whole set-up would be different for them so they'd be kinda weird about it.
(plus I don't know how it'd work here since no one really eats together since our kitchen is really small.)
LOL my bf is helping me fill and top the cupcakes. But I'll be baking the cake part on my own while he's at work.
It's ok tho. I don't really mind since I like baking. ;u; <3
I think I'll also make some banana bread while I'm at it since I have some leftover bananas.
I'm not very good at cooking rice for some reason. Even in a rice cooker it comes out kinda weird. idk. But anything else I'm pretty good at. I guess I'd say I specialize in pasta dishes and desserts?
I just make a lot of pasta cause it feeds an army tho lol.
Maybe it'd be better to say I specialize in anything with a gravy? I make some really good gravy when given the chance.

I used to be a disaster in the kitchen. I set the stove on fire once. @_@
But after years or doing it I got a lot better lol. I do still sometimes mess up really bad.
One time I forgot I was making muffins and my mom found them 3 hours later. 
they were definitely black lol
*sigh* I managed to make all the cupcakes last night. They looked so nice, I should have taken pics lol. Hopefully my bf's work friends will be impressed

ohh apple roses. They look kinda hard, but I've never tried to make one.
uugggghhhh I found 2 dragonfruits for the event, but I can't seem to find the 3rd no matter how much I look. *cries*
I even checked the disclaimer and privacy policy pages and I just don't know where else to look. @_@
