Re: Why was my Wild Knuffel rejected?

I have a question regarding uniforms being used.

I have already submitted a knuffel wearing a gakuran and I wanted to make another wearing one.
Am I not allowed to do that?
The sleeves would not be long like the other knuffel's.

Also I wanted to do two OCs of mine, but they're both wearing a school uniform.
However, the lining on the jackets is different colors and one has his shirt untucked underneath it, so they'd be somewhat different.

I'm guessing it would depend on amount of differences between them. Gakurans are rather universal and very general type of outfit, so it's not like you copy very specific design. I'm guessing other then sleeves he'd have different face and hair and turn into something bit different in general? If gakuran would be only element that stays the similiar, then it should't be a problem.

Well, they look quite different physically.
It's just the fact I had already used one style and it said no repeating.

I also wanted to go ahead and ask about the background thing.
When I made my Alice knuffel, I added four cards beside her feet.
They were attached to her feet, but they were more or less a kind of background image.

So my question is, as long as it pertains to the knuffel design and isn't a complete background, can it be added?

Like I sketched two vampire knuffel.
One has a blood pack by his feet.
The other has two pet bats and a bottle by his feet.

And my gakuran one has things like a kitsune and a kappa attached to him because I wanted it to be kind of a supernatural one.
Ho, let me upload the sketch and show:

Huh. I think it may be 3 & 4.
I hardly noticed the changes until I read what changed.

At a glance, they look awfully similar.

Moi> Vampire ones sound all right, as for last sketch, I'm not sure. I mean... the character iteself doesn't look very supernatural and a person who doesn't know him might not see connection between character and bg elements (but omg, karakasa :qh: ).

DolliHime> in my opinion 2-3 and 3-4 are very similiar.

You can give her a body in 2nd stage and make plain dress show in 3rd. Then add the pattern and jewel in 4th. The dress is biggest and most visable element in her, but it feels like it stays the same from 2nd stage almost till the end.

inquiry:

I wish to make a knuffel of the following oc:

Image

is he too gory? I wouldn't do so many bloody little details on the knuffel but I don't want to simplify his design too much. I suppose that as zombies go he is somewhat explicit?

obviously the evolution would involve him turning, too.

@Dolli: There are lines on the skin? O_O you should darken them, I didn't know there were any.

@Sin: As far as I've heard, Firn has a really low tolerance of gore X.X I don't think you could do anymore than that, but it's probably best if you wait for her answer before you start on it anyway.

does she read through this thread?

if so: firn, what do you think? and what's your opinion on blood - how much is allowed?

I was thinking I could give it a name that warns people of the content, so as to try and avoid the cute knuffel/hanging guts conundrum you mentioned on page 1.
