My math professor told me that was why he liked math and not art. Because with math 1+1=2 and that's that. With art or literature - someone speaking of the red rain could mean 14 different things - all in how you interpret it.

Exactly. When someone tells you to push the red button in a cockpit, you don't ponder what that person means with it. Does it mean you should so something you wouldn't there to do? Send out an alarm or something? No longer contain your curiosity? No dude, you just push button! x'D
Life is so simple.
Besides, in a cockpit there's not even time for pondering. 10 seconds can mean the difference between life and death.

I think it's interesting that you want to do something in that field. What exactly do you hope to do? Do you want to fly planes?

Whoo, Mollusk doesn't know! So you haven't gone mad with my air obsessions yet!
Yes, my final ambition is to become an airline pilot. But I can't do that straight away, so how it looks now I should first become a flight attendant or join the Air Force. I'd prefer the Air Force but I don't think they'd want me there. x'D
But luckily I don't have to wait till all that's done before I can fly anymore - I'm now flying TMG's as a recreational pilot :D
It's not a Boeing yet, but it's definitely flying!

I have noticed your tendency towards flying things, Merry. It's difficult not to! Haha! Why do you think the Air Force wouldn't want you? I have a friend whose just graduated college that's enlisted. What is a TMG? This story will sound false but I promise you it isn't. My junior year of high school, my grandmother and I flew to Germany to visit with my Uncle who was stationed over there. On the plane home, we had to make an emergency landing because of something. Before the landing, all the flight attendants we're chattering on about how things weren't reacting properly and so on and so forth. They looked terrified. We nearly crashed - since then, and the whole 9/11 thing - I don't like planes anymore.
