Oh yeah that reminds me, when club Verge first came out I thought you had to spend 1k a year on Gaia. but then I saw Aji's post in the ATA thing last night and she said $100 and that made me feel a little better about. It's still pretty lame anyways though, since all the items in the shop are still crazy expensive

I was fond of joining new sites for a while,
but without people to regularly pull you back,
it's pretty hard to maintain... ;w;
Even if they close Club Verge, there's still a lot
of wrong with the site...

I check the masquerade, and I skim site feedback and the GCD a little bit but never feel up to actually doing anything there. I haven't even been able to dress my avatar due to just lack of giving a shit.

That honestly also pissed me off. The fact that people are okay with it, and defending it, just made me feel like I don't even belong anywhere near most of those people.

I'm not surprised the GCD wan't angry. It's mostly people who have grown used
to the barrage of items and cash grabs; had their expectations and standards whittled away. In contrast to things like RIGs, it might seem almost refreshingly straightforward.
