I do love the option to out-bid yourself, so I can just bid my maximum and forget about things.
Then it's not a problem that I forget to check back; either it went beyond what I wanted or I got it. :P

Ah that is a good trick! Bid your max at the beginning if you lose, Oh well...I will start doing this! It's especially good for those auctions that are like 2 weeks long! My memory is just about 2 days...lol

Oh, could be worse! I'm not exactly getting important stuff done, but at least I'm getting *something* done, which is about all I ask these days...

I have managed to drink way too much coffee with no clear result - I could still fall asleep where I am standing

I prefer to get my auctions as cheap as possible, keeping an eye on the times. I'm not a wealthy user so I can't just go around bidding my max on everything.

Oh I think Akili meant you bid the max that YOU can personally bid so that you don't have to keep remembering to check.
I wouldn't consider myself as a wealthy player either, Until the last few months I thought 10k was rich since food was so hard to come by for me

Oh yeah, I understand. I just think the purpose of auctions for the buyer at least, is to get a good deal. But that's just me. I'd rather check back than overpay.

Also Illyria would you mind making a small knuffel image for me for the ugly duckling, like the ones I have on the front page? I neglected to buy one for myself XD

Oh I get that...and so would I tbh, but memory is an issue for me. Like if you got a notification saying 'Your auction will end in 1 hour' or something, That would be super helpful! But I've missed so many items because I forgot about them

Mmm, I had liefer overpay than miss out. Especially since I can always set a hard limit for myself, "This much is too much, I will not go beyond X", and then I'm fine.

Witness your own knuffels! If you wait until the last minute when they are the cheapest, you might miss them altogether. Better to get them earlier and pay a little more, but be sure to have them. ;P

Oh yeah I'm sad that I missed on a ton of knuffle! Even the official knuffle.
Because my account is 2 years but I didn't really play until Nov/Dec last year? So I missed a lot of knuffle now I have to pay Fairy coins for them
