I've seen mostly Disney movies in theaters.
Last one I saw was Sing, but it was at a dollar theater.
Was $40 to get in and get two things of popcorn and three sodas >__>

A dollar theatre and it was still $40 to get in with popcorn and soda? The total for three people, right?

Theaters are really expensive. My gf and I havent gone to watch a movie there in a long time. We get a large popcorn and a large soda usually too. We 'honey boo boo' the popcorn xD lol we put a LOT of butter and some salt on it.

I don't really watch Honey Booboos so I don't know what that means. Thanks for the clarification. lol

I understand that going to see movies is expensive. I was just surprised that it would cost $40 and still calls itself a dollar theatre. But I suppose it would make more sense if it were with a bunch of people.

Yeah, me neither. But I assume some place called dollar theatre would be cheaper than regular theatre.

Haha, sounds like something they might do.

Oh my god you guys!
I was just looking at theatrical perfomances today and here you are speaking about them. I just planned my trip to London and always wanted to watch a play there but hope to find something on the less expensive side.
Edit; Has anyone applied for the game yet? c:

That's so cool. I think we were talking about movie theatres,
though. Good luck finding something cool to watch! Last play I watched was a Shakespeare comedy. Merry Wives of Windsor, it was. It was pretty good.

No one yet. :qsob:

It was four people.
My other aunt took us me and my sister and our cousin.
But two kids and two adults = $40 at a Dollar Theater xD

It's supposed to be cheaper than a regular theater.
Or it used to be xD
It's not as fancy, though. At least to me.

Yeah, okay. $10 per person with popcorn and soda, that's not bad at all. Most theatres it'd cost over $10 just to see the movie, no concession.
