It took me maybe an hour to read 1/3 of that paranormal romance. I like how fast it's going because I can just finish it tomorrow. now I know how my goodreads friends read so fast. they just pick short stuff. the thing is also almost all telling so I don't need to think at all. hopefully this will help me be more invested in good books

ok ok yea you're reading *sigh* everyone is reading nowadays...

Yeah, I read a lot of fast stuff (short things, YA things, even a few JUV things, things that require no thought, and manga)! Although I'm still behind on my reading!!

I like to try to alternate, a short book then a long book. That way I make a lot of progress but I still get to read the kind of stuff I like, which is mostly long-ass Russian classics XD

Have you read anything by Maxim Gorky? I'm not sure if that's what you mean by Russian classics, i'd actually never heard of him before. I found one of his books second hand a while ago and picked it up purely because I liked the cover.

I think I am about 22 books in so far, a little behind what I wanted to be at but I haven't been able to read much lately. I hope to spend this coming weekend just relaxing and reading!
