I guess I do worry a little about selling my soul some. Mostly because the few pieces of, er... 18+ art I've drawn has been kinda fun. But in the same token I haven't put them on Deviant art, just shared privately to a few friends.

I hear that kind of art is popular for commissions...or maybe I just follow the wrong type of artists XD

Well, if it sells and you have fun drawing it, what's wrong with it?
I mean, you should probably set some clear boundaries what kind of things you are comfortable drawing and what you won't do, so people don't ask you for stuff that you don't want to work on. But then it should be fine? I don't think there's anything inherently wrong or shameful about explicit content.

If you're worried that you will be put in an "adult corner" and not taken seriously as an artist of other themes, you could maybe try having a pseudonym under which you do the adult content so it's not connected and posted under the same accounts as your other stuff. But then again, you have to promote both identities on their own, which makes that even more work, I guess.

So I can only draw adult stuff late at night. Not that they have a problem with it, they just don't want to see it XD

And yes I don't think there's anything wrong with it either. I do draw the line at drawing children in adult situations though...but haven't found anything else distasteful. The fact is though, that a lot of people do have a problem with adult content and I think many would figure my webcomic will turn into an adult comic (it's not and it won't be) if I start showing that I draw that kind of stuff.

I don't think I could do a pseudonym, it's hard enough to keep up with my own stuff right now! I guess I'll just have to keep considering things.

I think IG lets you add multiple accounts so you can easily change from one account to the other if you want to keep the 18+ art separate from the others.

I live with my father. I don't think he knows that I have a graphic tablet … or that I draw stuff and post them online. I don't think he's ever seen me draw seriously or use the pens I doubt he knows that I have. o.o

My mother knows though. I remember, she once saw me drawing and was like "Nyeh, nagdadrawing ng hubad." (roughly translates to "-gasp- drawing naked people") and gave me a look before I clarified that I still had to 'dress them up'.

I have more than 1 IG account. They do make it very easy to switch between them.

This is the tablet I have, i'm not sure about the program though. I bought it almost five years ago now. It was set up on my dad's computer btw, I now have my own laptop that i'd like to set it up with, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I've also just realised while researching the tablet I have that it is meant for making comics/manga, which is not what I do. It's no big deal though, I think. I just wanted to start making digital art. I have thought about making a picture book type of thing though so I guess I could do that with it.

What's the difference between their tablets? Is it the program that comes with it? 'Cause that one's Manga. I also saw something like Draw, Creative, and Art.

I'm pretty sure it's just the program that comes with it, I don't see why the tablet would be any different. This was/is my first time buying a tablet so I have nothing else to compare it to.
