Because I'm not exactly fit, I'm a lazy fatass haha. The Dutch Air Force is not like the American one, they have way less funds and so are way more picky. To be an actual flyer you need a higher education than I have. And besides me there are thousands of other boys in great shape with great education they'd be way more willing to take in than me...
A TMG is a Touring Motor Glider, a hybrid between a glider and a small prop airplane.
Hmmm I always hold on to the statistics, obviously saying flying is the safest way to fly. Compared to the flights that take off every day, crashes barely occur. Almost-crashes do occur more often, but that's what the pilots are for of course. They are trained to fight every scenario that's already happened.
But I can imagine it scared the crap out of you - although I'd probably enjoy it afterwards, if it was an almost-crash. ;D

@Merry It's neat you can work your way from flight attendant to pilot where you live! :0 America doesn't do it that way, so I was going to post about that option in your quiz being wrong, but then I read your profile. ^^;

Hahaha I'm trying my best Mollusk but it's not easy, I'm encountering obstacle after obstacle xD
Lol Tangerine that is not at all the way to do it here. It's not actually promoting or anything. It's earning money, making experience with flying and creating contacts with airlines. The first will make it possible for me to do the training and the others make it easier to find a job. So the actual jobs have little to do with each other. It's just one of the possibilities. Not a paved road. x3
Why would you say it's wrong anyway? That's a bit harsh :')
Things are different for anyone so you can't just say it's... wrong.
