Why are small things so cute!

Could we find small things cute because we associate them with babies?

We were just wondering that a minute ago.
I could do research but I'm feeling really tired at the moment.

Babies are cute as long as you can give them back when they start leaking or making excess noise.

Yeaaaah maybe... I like baby animals, but definitely not baby humans.

I find even human babies to be less tiring than human adults, if we're being honest...
(People are nice in the abstract. In person, I get tired and want to run away and hide. Kids are usually, for all their noise and chaos, weirdly less tiring and babies less yet. Dunno why. Maybe they just don't have the same expectations? Eh, people are weird and I'm no exception. Who knows!)

Eh. I can't deal with all the screaming. It gives me migraines and makes me very upset, in many ways.

Adults don't scream very often. I like that.

Nowadays I'd say on average, adults scream just as often as kids do x.x
I just don't find human babies cute, like at all. I'm weird.

Adults scream all the time at retail workers
I have no control over the prices
I have no control over what's in stock
I have no control over your attitude
And if you get too mad, I can have security escort you out
Cuz the customer ain't always right

Apparently the yeast was too old cuz the dough isn't rising

Will you be able to salvage the dough at all? Or is it pretty much *ahem* toast?

I discovered the hard way once that salt slowed down dough rising. Did not leave enough time for things to rise properly and ended up with denser bread...
It was funny, 'cause of course you also have salt-rising bread!
Although that does take a super long time.

(And smells right AWFUL for a while)

Omg I know, customers are the worst x.x
And if that's the case, it's the manufacturer's problem, not the poor clerk.
